Broken Buff box
Perhaps someone here can help.
I recently plugged in KAO's buff window into my interface. The thing is it does odd things.
When I use SIDLWIDL, I can see the buff box as it should be. The colored stone and spell icons and the names. In the game, I get no graphics at all in the buff window. I can't even click the area where the decal would be to click off a buff. I get only the top border (which is correct) and the names.
Has anyone else run into this similar situation?

So your not getting any gem icons?
You downloaded the KAOUI 4.0 from this site correct? With out any mods to his mod?
Could you maybe post a picture?...

Here is what I get.
It is very odd. If I click in the area where the decals should be, they don't work. So its like the buff buttons are just forgotten.
Anyway, any suggestions would be helpful.

*Blink* That's very odd. That's my buff window (with Remmy's further mod to it) and I have *never* seen it do that before ...
Want to zip up your files and shoot them through to me, I can take a look ...

Ok.
*looks for a string to tie to his finger and hopes to remember to do this when he gets home.
The little voice in the back of my programmer's mind is saying this might be some odd conflict between files. Hopefully, its just something missing.

I have seen this happen before. However it only happens (from my experience) when the buff icon is larger than the internal height of the window. Now how that could have happened is beyond me.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll look into that, but as you say I don't see how that could happen.
I haven't uplinked my current UI files. Frankly, because dialup takes a long time to upload a 3M file.

An update. I stretched the window a bit and now I get the decals and can at least click off buffs. Only have to figure out how to get the red/blue background to appear again.
Thank you for your help.

Problem solved.
Here is what was happening.
First.
The window was 2 pixels too short. This caused no decals to appear. I stretched the window by 2 more pixels and the decals showed up.
Second.
While I had described a UIanimation object, I had not described a related Texture object. The result was not that the UI failed to load, instead it was that the UI greatly reduced framerate whenever it tried to use any graphic NOT described by a Texture object. I mean insane frame rate reductions. I inserted the proper Texture definition and now the entire thing works at a good framerate.
Thank you all for you help. Sorry, Careinn that I didn't upload the UI files.
Now on to find out why my group windows have a "hole" in them where the pet health bar is supposed to appear and why the devil my spellbook open/close button won't function.
