Default Spellgems.tga and spells01...etc.tga

Can someone pleaes tell me which spellgems represent which types of spells? In one spellgems.tga File there are Several gems but I don't know what they correspond to! Also, would someone tell me the difference between spellgems.tga and spells01.tga (including spells02,etc) ? I'm trying to make POKEMON gems!

I just spent an hour putting the following file together, only to find out when I load it, the buff icons that correspond with them in game only show up as a weird blue color. Why is this?

spellbook icons (and i buff icons) are controlled by

Spells01.tga
Spells02.tga
Spells03.tga
Spells04.tga
Spells05.tga

The Spell Gem icon is controlled by

Gemicons01.tga
Gemicons02.tga

hope that helps

Also remember that ONLYTGAs and PNGs can be use as graphic files.. jpgs, gifs, and tifs will not show up in game.

But do they need t o match each other in order to show up right? I hope not. Why doesn't it show up, though? Did I do something wrong?

Also

Also, in your opinion, do those buff icons posted above look decent? This is my first attempt at making any sort of UI mod or anything similar.

It's still a .tga. I only made the .jpg above so I could post it here.

Perhaps Dolby could help?

Yes, they need to corospond.. IE if you see a shield icon in gemsicon.tga and in spells01.tga then you need to put the same image in both places.

and see my note above, about file types...

So they need to correspond, eh? ... Hrm. This'll be a tricky undertaking ! Well, I'll post back in a day or two when I've finished that. So that would be why they show up as a blurry blue square instead of the icon ?

Oh, ok. Jeeze, you guys reply fast! Sadly, I have to go in about 5 mins. I'll try corresponding them all tomorrow. It'll probably take about 3 or 4 hours , though. Thanks anyway. Any other ideas...? Also, does the SHAPE of the icons for spellgems.tga matter?

Just to make sure - I'm just editing the pictures of the default spell icons. I just open them and copy and paste everything to cover them up. Does that mean I'll need to do any coding or anything with XML's? I'm not sure what they're for, but I wanted to try to avoid them.

Still getting the blue box when I load my spellgems. What am I doing wrong?!

Also, I've corresponded all buff and spell icons to the same graphic for each individual type of buff. So what is wrong?
