yeah im playing ao, my eq accts are inactive so i cant verify my mods work. storyline format is sort of unforgiving of errors -- eq locks up.

i went ahead and posted an update anyway, but i could only check it by looking at an html version rather than storyline-format version. everything seems to be in order, but i have no way of knowing for sure without being able to log in to eq.

Thanks for the quick(!) response for an update. However, the download link shows a page that (for me) says "You are not authorized to view this file". Something up with permissions or something?

i just updated for apr12 patch -- amazing luck i have, a patch right after i update for the first time in 4 months

the mods have to approve every submission. the 'not authorized' page is what they display during the time between me submitting and them approving.

theres an update for the DoD expansion. haven't updated after that, gonna wait a bit for sony to settle down with the patching.

got an update for the 2005-11-16 patch, i had to remove the game description text from the spell details since sony moved the strings into a new dbstr_us.txt file. it should just be temporary till i get around to figuring out how it's set up now.

lucy hasn't updated their data in a very long time, i checked this morning (02/21/06) for the new PoR release but there was nothing. i will check again tonight, but my hopes are not very high.

foofyspells is built by converting the csv data that lucy provided, which is what they are no longer providing. i do have the ability to convert raw eq spdat like lucy does, but it is not complete: everything is in place except for the attribute description functions, of which there are about 300

Well, as long as it doesn't make your EQ experience miserable I hope you continue to provide this excellent story addon. You've done a smashing job so far and I use the mod daily.

lucy posted an update for PoR so foofyspells is updated too. lucy seems to have changed from calling 127 the highest level spell to using 255 now like spdat. but there's still some oddities with respect to melees, so there's things like -1 used for berserkers, 127 for melees, and 255 for casters.

this may seem arcane, but what it looks like to foofyspells users is aa spells appear in the class alphabetical lists now, and there is a new AA page in the class level lists. in some cases melee's will also see some of the old opening system abilities listed.
