Default Decent New UI's for EQ

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good UI for current time in EQ. I have just returned after a long 2 year break and It seems the UI I use to use no longer exsists. Also, my computer runs on Vista and I can not seem to get the maps for the most recent two expansions to load. When I look at them it seems they are the maps folder but when I get in game they are not there. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

This is one of the most popular UI's. It is a multipiece dashboard and it works with most resolutions from 1920x 1600 all the way down to 1280x1024 with five chat windows.
I will also play on 1024x768 with just two chat windows in a dashboard setup.

If your EQ is installed under \Program Files\ then that is almost certainly your problem with the maps (could also be causing your UI problems?).

Best thing to try is just copy (not move, just copy) your \EverQuest\ folder to something like C:\EverQuest\ and try running it from there.
IF this works, you can then remove the old copy from \Program Files\

Vista is apparently a complete PITA when it comes to letting anyone change files in the \Program Files\ tree.
I don't know personally cos when I got my new PC (with Vista preinstalled) home the first thing I did was put Windows7 on it.
