Default UI goes back to default UI

I extract these 2 files into my custome uifiles folder:

EQUI_PlayerWindow
drakah_wow_stats.tga

When I ran EQ, it defaulted back to the default UI.

Do I need anything else to make it work?

In the readme file you included it says 'You must utilize both the drakah_wow_stats.tga file as well as the ......

and that's it. It sounds like I need another file.

Yes... if you are using my original UI (QualtarUI -Drak/TK) and have added the new QualtarUI Playerwindow Extreme, you will also need to download the QualtarUI Hotbuttonwindow-WoW to make it compatable. You can get that file HERE

The QualtarUI Playerwindow Extreme will only be compatable as a stand alone playerwindow *IF* you do not have any of the features shown in another window... if you do, it will cause the interface to default to the standard UI.

If that does not fix it, please post your UIErrors.txt last lines and I will tell you how to fix it.

Thanks for the info on the Readme file, I will make sure I update it.

No, only mana you get is your own and no numbers for mana either. Just not currently available info in game.

Alright, I was trying to see ...

Is there any info about the timer thing ?
I would like to move the text windows , it only seem to be resizable ... is it possible to move ? Because I am used to put the input text part of the window out of the screen (in the bottom) for windows I don't want to chat in it ( just for status)

Timer is fully functional and I am using it in my current in game UI... I am currently testing it along with a few other mods for the upcoming version release... look for it in the next few weeks.

as far as the windows go, they are just chat windows, you should be able to unlock them and move them as you see fit.

You can read more about the timer at www.timermod.com, which has a full description of the timer as well as a FAQ section.

Any plans for changing the Actions box?

Also, probably a really dumb question....but how do I get the hit/miss box to come up?

Yes, I have been thinking of modifying the actions box as it makes for a very good window with its multiple tabs and its concise size.... will add to list of things to tinker with.

As far as the hits/miss boxes go... they are quite simple, that require you to modify your windows in game.

Simply right click on the scroll bar of the window in which you want specific hits/misses to display. i.e yours, others, or you being hit (see first post proposed pic for example), then select filter melee > your hits, others, or being hit. You can then filter it to show the number only by using the same method. Make sure you have all !hits and misses on, by looking at your options file (can access by clicking on the selector bar, or by pressing ALT +O)

I love the look of this UI, I downloaded it last week , but it had some bugs. Now its not available for download. I'm not authorized for some reason. I'll keep looking for a re-release. To really streamline this UI I suggest a horizontal pet window with buffs . I would stick it in place of the selector window .
