Damlyn A Gray Wolf Join Date: Jan 2003 Posts: 4	Actually I've gotten every part of this UI to work except the MP3 player... not that I use it, but the XP and Alt xp bar are on that part of the UI, so I kinda want it. The file is there, but nothing is poping up. I see the red text for the error, but I'm not sure where I can find the explaination you keep asking for from people. Thanks for the help ahead of time

*Cairenn* Credendo Vides Join Date: Jul 2002 Posts: 3,866	You say the sound is turned on. Did you check in the menu (before you log in, same place where you turn models on and off) as well as checking the option window? The UIError.txt log file is found in your main EQ directory.

You need to get the LoY and the 14 May updates that I released. Links for them are on the first post of this thread.

To check whether sounds are enabled in game, alt-o is the command. Also make sure that you don't have a nosound.txt file in your main eq directory.

There are no other options. ~ I downloaded both your Feb 24 and May 11 patches I was able to get the rest of the buttons to work, but the MP3 Player is still not there... Right now this UI works like a charm for me...but if I try to put in the 2 patches mentioned above...no UI... shrug I can deal with using key shortcuts to open windows added with LoY...that's all I can see that would be 'patched' from these patches. If I'm wrong and I'm missing something spectacular plz let me know...of course then I'm going to need to figure out how to install the patches so the UI WILL work. TOBisMe

It seems that everything (combat spam and regular spam) is appearing in the left window, with nothing appearing at all in the right one. I'd love to have chat spam and combat spam in separate windows =( I followed the directions exactly, changed the icons around, put a new spellbook in, new casting window, etc... didn't touch the chat windows. Right click the top bar of your original chat window. Select "New Chat Window". Now right click the top bar of the new chat window. Scroll down to "Filters", and you will get alot of options of stuff to filter out. I've got Melee in a different window, as I want to see what songs are playing for me.
