ACUI 1.1 has Passed Moderation!

It is now available for download at...

http://www.eqinterface.com/sdownloa....php?s=&id=2429

This is a recommended update for EVERYONE who uses ACUI as it fixes several bugs and adds a few new features...

I'd also like to announce the opening of the Official ACUI WebSite!

http://elezibeth.electric-cat.com/

This site will be a launching pad for all future ACUI versions (However threads and downloads will still be provided here on EQInterface.com.) The site will also be the place where applications for special testers on versions and features of the UI will be accepted!

Take a look and let me know what you think! It isn't done yet but I'm working on it!

Again, thanks for using ACUI!

Hiya! First off the usual 'I LOVE THIS UI!' bit It's minimal yet still attractive and resists the urge to show every bit of information on the screen at once. Great great job!

However, I do have a few questions I want to add a different cursor than the default one, and notice that there is no EQUI_Animations file in the ACUI file. Any pointers? When I copy place a copy of the Animations xml in the ACUI folder and edit it, ACUI refuses to load.

Also, I can't seem to replace the spell book! This is minor, really, and I just wanted to swap it out for a more fantasy one, but dragging in and overwriting the files doesn't seem to work at all.

Any and all help would be appreciated Again, love the UI, keep up the great work!

Just...make the cursor a little bigger in the next release??

Hey there!

Thanks for your comments regarding ACUI, hopefully Enok (The coder) will be able to address your questions regarding the cursor replacement and spellbook replacement soon!

Regarding the next release, the new ACUI 2.1 cursor isn't going to actually be larger than the current one, however, it will be very different than the one you see now.

You can see a preview of it on the ACUI 2.0 beta image on the ACUI site at http://elezibeth.electric-cat.com/.

If there is anything else, please let me know!

For the record, problem solved It seems when naming folder names for testing UIs, EQ doesn't like file names. It was trying to create a UI from the folder 'copy', which didn't exist!

I really like this, I've never seen it until now and its clean and efficient which I love ...

I saw your pic for version 2.0 .....

I must admit I dont like the curves it just takes up space..

With there be different types of the UI ..

Thanks

I use alt-g which is the defualt hotkey to open the guild management window. As Elizabeth has not been heard from on these boards in several months, I am not sure that it will be modded to include this button.

It says in the readme.

Press Alt+H and they will be restored, it's a known (UNREPAIRABLE) issue due to a bug in SOE's handling of windows. :P

Default Thank you ACUI!

Thank you Elez for the ACUI, with some personal adjustments and a different buff bar I am liking what I see. Nice melee UI, everything is in place and clear as a bell.

Thanks so much!

Zori

p.s Even though I am retired I can still play with UIs :P

cheers!
