Default Mouse Pointers

I've gone through 3-4 different mouse pointers from most recent to highest rated to most downloaded. I have followed all the README instruction to the T as well as the forum instillation info and when I load the ui it does not give me an error message on any of them (aside from one i fixed due to incorrect naming) and then it still wouldn't work. I feel I have to throw it up to being out of date as the most recently added mouse skin was in 2006-7. Trying to find something that defines where you're clicking and looks cool.

were all the ones I've tried with no luck but missing buildings after loading.

I'm also running under the Eternal Darkness (2014) skin from the minimalist section. I might have missed something but I'm pretty confident I had it set up right.

The problem is that they are all only the main cursor file, I think. Copy the rest of the .cur files from the default folder into your custom folder as well and it should work as long as there is a full set.

Edit, my bad - these are different tga files and an animations mod, which is indeed an outdated way of doing it. If you were dedicated maybe you could have some success, but I think the simplest way would be to convert them to .cur files and replace the default set.
