EQInterface Forums - 10 spells instead of 8

Sebell69 A Bat Join Date: Jan 2003 Server: M&M server Posts: 1	10 spells instead of 8 This may be a stupid question/idea But we do have shortcuts 9 and 0 available (alt+9 and alt+0) which dont get used in the spell bar (its got only 8), is there a reason why nobody as come up with a spell bar that uses 10 spells instead of 8? (its 10 cause from 0 to 9 there is 10 numbers) Is there a reason for this?, am I the only one that has thought of this or is this old news/idea that was attempted and didnt go thru. Another question/idea even if we dont have alt shortcut keys for it can we make a spell bar that will hold and "work" for more than the 10 alt shortcuts that actually exist now in game? Personally I dont know dilly squat about xml, if not I would have tried it myself already, any of the razor sharp xml's out there want to give this a try?? Sebell

Many players have requested the number be increased, but Sony has said, in the past, they would not increase the amount, because it was all a part of the "strategy" to figure out which spell you would need for each encounter. But they have changed a few things now, they said the never would in the past... so maybe in the future we will see more slots. Some people have even made mods for 10 spell slots, in anticipation that this next expansion might have an increase. So... keep your fingers crossed.
