Default Never Copy Default

After helping several people solve ui issues this past week , I feel a need to reiterarte to authors , hacks, and users[......NEVER COPY ANYTHING FROM DEFAULT TO YOUR CUSTOM UI.
EQ looks into your custom folder and if needs a file will pull it from the default by itself. If you put a file into your folder and then eq updates it chances are your ui will crash because you have an out of date file and eq will not pull the new one cause you have it in your folder. I saw several instances where the issues was having an out of date animations file that was no different from defaults other then the new changes,,,,no need for this animation file in your custom folder.
When you look in your errors log and it says could not find file in your custom ui ...pulling from default...thjese are eq telling you it fetched the file from the default file and not the reason it failed...error something found and not defined is a cause for it to not load.

ok Enjoy

/rant off

Totally agree. This is one of the big things I find when helping someone.
