As a note, the icons I am referring to are in spells01.tga - spells05.tga. I'm not talking about the gemicons.

As it stands right now, I'm getting used to and enjoying the new spell icons. I've gone through and changed some of them and added colors to enhance meanings. It's great that people can make their own too. I've seen a couple great sets.

BUT.... some totally different spells use the SAME ICON. This sucks. For people redoing icon sets, they need to make an icon that represents both the Enchanter MR debuff Tashania and the Bard Haste song Battlecry of the Vahshir for instance. Two spells that have two totally different affects yet use the same icon.

There's room in the last texture file (spells05.tga) to put new icons or at least separate out the different spells that use the same icon so someone else can change them independently.

A list of the spellbook/buff box icons that I've noticed are overloaded:
- Tash and Battlecry of Vahshir
- Abolish poison/cure poison and poison dots
- Abolish disease/cure disease and disease dots (rabies, strong disease, etc)
- Clarity and Mask of the Stalker

I'm sure there are more that I haven't noticed yet too!

Form of the Great Bear shows a ghostly sillouette of a lady in a robe. Changed it to a bear, but now my Enchanter's illusion spells all have a bear icon
