Default simulating EQ gamma level?

As I'm sure you've all noticed, EQ really cranks up the gamma. So when making UI elements, they must be considerably darker than they will appear in game.

Anyone know how to simulate EQ's gamma level?

In Photoshop, use the Curves control window. (CTRL-M, or Image -> Adjustments -> Curves.)

Just drag the little curved line up a bit, that will simulate the gamma setting in EQ.

you might be able to account for this in the UI as well without having to change your graphic. Text clip form the SIDL.DOC
