Can you post your uierrors.txt file in you Everquest folder? I just checked in game and had no issue.

Both of the toons I tried to /loadskin on now have issues logging on, and if I get them logged on, they crash eventually (without trying to zone) they are on different accounts, and the other toons on those accounts have no issues.

update: I am having no trouble with any toon, any UI now.. wth happened last night?!?!

i don't know exactly what the problem was - but unfortunately, the UIerrors file isn't going to help in a case like this. when eq closes, whether it's from a crash or logging out, the UIerrors file is cleared, so that all it has in it is the creation line.

in general, if there is a problem and you don't crash when it happens (either you get the 'not compatable' or the 'loading defaul' messages), you want to alt-tab out of EQ but leave it running while you go copy the uierrors file to your desktop.

I am not so lucky, and it's crashing... seems to be tied to the Big bank window from the Myxiplx UI (teach me to try to steal one piece) if i copy a working toon's UI file over the top of the character i'm trying to fix, it loads, no problem, no problems running... so I'm doing something wrong and EQ is barfing all over it... time to narrow it down, but at least we'ew moving in the right direction.. thanks for the input so far y'all!
