i have no background in xml, but i'm doin my best to learn it by jumping right in (sorta like what i did with html)

anyways, i tried to add the hp percent to my player window, by taking the code from another file and adding it to the one i'm running now, but it never seems to work correctly.

i've added the label items, then added the code for it in the actual screen item, so it's rather identicle to the original xml file i stole it from.

any ideas on what i'm doin wrong?

Need to actually look at the code to see what is wrong. Too hard to tell from here, you seem to be doing everything right.

Check the UIErrors.txt files in your everquest directory, it is outputted everytime your UI has problems.

Might be a simple answer to this by checking your <screen> size and enduring you aren't trying to write your percentage label in a location not enclosed within the size parameter.

That got me a few times at first.

Try making the screen resizable. The run the UI and open the screen up to see if your new controls show up in a part of the screen that's hidden.
