Ah nice, I run a web stream of music myself, you can check it out by visiting my site here: >> Vertigo Design <<
We have different DJs every day, running a variety of music. From Techno, Industrail, Goth, New Wave, Metal, Acid Jazz, House, etc. Check it out. Just click play on the little radio controller.
NOTE: There's a little snippet of a Montey Python skit when the page first opens, incase you're at work or something. You might want to turn your speakers down, off, or just not click the link.

I'll be sure to check it out, Horaxe!
In the mean time, I've just updated with two new songs:
~Mewl of the Forest (it's one of my best works, in my opinion!)
~The Fugue and Toccata of the Music Box (in the classical section)
Enjoy!

Just updated!
~Added Grand Canon - I in the style of Johann Pachelbel (it's modeled after the famous Canon in D, but since it's in a minor key, it sounds sinister! ) It's at the bottom of my classical section.
James's Classical Music
PS Do you guys like the classical compositions at all? I suppose since most of it is baroque-ish, not many of you like it very much compared to the thematic section.
Forgot to mention!
~I updated the thematic section, too! I added Exordio Celestial. Enjoy!

Added two new songs to the THEMATIC section!
~Town Theme - I
~On the Trail of Adventure
They are modeled after songs from the original FF game. Tell me if they sound old-school RPG-ish!

Added the song:
~The Face of Evil
This song is supposed to be in the style of the Sephiroth Theme of FFVII. Please tell me if it sounds sinister enough!

Wonderful
Speaking strictly from another musician's point of view your music is very well written and structured. You make good use of cordal progressions and nothing sounds out of place, which makes the whole very enjoyable to listen to. I especially liked your choice of instrumentation and the wide variety you used to create such different feelings and images from piece to piece. I think you've got a great talent and wish you the best of luck in your future!

I studied classical music in college and am always thrilled to find a modern composer working in the old styles. My favs are the fugues, but the again Bach was my fav composer to study... And the Grand Canons are beautiful as well. *bows humbly*

Re: My Original Music Website
Absolutely fantastic, James (sorry, I'm lazy, and it's easier than trying to recall the mapped Alt-key combination for the symbols in your username. Heh).
I personally grew up more in a metal and rock n' roll upbringing (my parents were children of rock, as they were younger than most), but I've grown to embrace most musical styles, as each displays a talent of it's own. I immensely enjoy classical style music and compositions (metal derives its roots heavily from there, believe it or not; personal favourite being Amadeus Mozart...I also get a lot of inspiration for my writings out of the various spectrums of classical music) and this work is astounding. Keep up the good work...and we hope to hear good things of it in the future. /nod
