EQInterface Forums - "Do Not Use" graphic

kabbus A Snow Cougar Join Date: Aug 2002 Posts: 40	"Do Not Use" graphic I must have missed something. However a lot, if not all of the new interfaces have extra spells slots that say "Do Not Use". What is this supposed to mean, or why is it even there? Its very annoying to see 10 rows of it displayed on your screen, that you can't even turn down the transparency to hide it.

Some times they are there and sometimes not. All of my toons use the same ui and its not a problem for all of them. My 56th Shaman has it on 21 to 25. My 52nd Cleric has them on 16 to 25. My 51st Druid has them on 16 to 25 My 51st Necro has them on 21 to 25 My 43rd BST has none of them My 38th Enchanter has none of them. Drakah Skinning Guru Join Date: Jul 2002 Posts: 1,076	It is level based somehow linked to a "do not use" spell of some sort that is in the spell list. As a level 70, you dont see it other than the Bard Buffs saying it. If you are level 4 or something you have them all over except the 1st 5 in the buff list. It is so weird. Somehow it is affecting the EQLabels for names. Now, wether or not SOE knows it or not or will fix it anytime soon is debatable. this hast the do not use but in small leaters doesnt show much

I believe, im like 15% sure, that it ahs something to do with after a certian number of missions, you get smething special. I think i heard the words AA but i think SOE sayed no new AA's in DoN. Again this is all just hearsay and i dont know if it is even true. although it would give a reason for teh existance of the problem being serverside. Guess we just have to wait and find out.

I mean the 6xx ones and not the older (lower-numbered) ones. Hopefully they'll fix it, and soon. But I encourage you all to /bug in-game, so they know it's not just a couple of us getting the problem. As far as I've seen, SOE wants to make the masses happy, and not the individual. And as we all know, the squeaky wheel gets the grease....

However, if I recieve a Buff that falls into one of those slots, the text is cleared and there is no problem. I cannot speak for slots over 15 or so, since I did not test it that much. Be Well!
