want a UI
i am looking for a UI that is pretty much the Default_old one, excpet the bank be the new one, so i can see the 16 spaces, and have the spell list that shows the names of the spells next to it, but with the default_old icons and would like the %of my exp in the inv plz
i know its not alot, but would really appreciate it, and if there is one like this can you post it?

ya, i have been on for almost 4.5 years, and i cant get used to the new icons, or the horizontaly hotkeys, VERY annoying hopefully someone can do, since i think it is pretty simple

Bank UI
Ok, I have a custom UI. I have old default and threw in some key pieces. Now, the bank did not work nor the guild roster stuff. I downloaded this UI Piece:

which works fine for bank slots.
Ok as for guild roster, that one is kind of up in the air. I downloaded a guild roster from here and well, the zones show up under personal and the person is not useable. But I can see where my guildies are so no problem until someone makes a useable one. Hope this helps. |

bank slots
for this UI, since it has "24" bank slots, does that mean it will only work with the newest expansion? (Prophecy of Ro)
cause i have downloaded this and tried multiple times but it has not work

i dont really know how to explain it, so i copy and pasted this for you.
With the recent changes made by SoE, it is now very easy.
1. Download your chosen interface
2. Find the folder in your EverQuest directiory UIFILES inside there will be a folder Default*
3. Create another folder beside Default, for our example we will call it "BARD" (You can not have spaces in the name)
4. Unzip all of the files from your download into the folder "BARD"
5. Enter EQ
6. In game type /loadskin. This will bring up a small selector window. Select BARD and click the Load button. The screen will look like your zoning for a moment, then load your new mod.
the box Use INI selected will keep the UI from resetting all the boxes back to default posistion.
*The default folder CAN NOT be altered in anyway.. any changes made to this folder are over written at Start-Up of the game.
THATS IT! You are Done!

well, when i download it says "save" or "open" and when i click save and save to the new folder, it is a .zip file, what do i do?

what i did was,
1) make a NEW FOLDER in the uifiles folder, named Slapkick
2) downloaded and saved the selected item to the DESKTOP
3) right click on the item, and select EXTRACT ALL
4) direct it to the folder that you created in the UIFILES folder (in my case Slapkick)
i dont really know how to explain it much better than that |

ingame type /loadskin and select that file that you made in uifiles

OLD School
I have been using the original UI's that came out with the orginal game, with a few modifications here and there. If anyone is working on a fix for the UI, would love to get it. STill use the old spell gem icons. Why does sony always have to screw up a good thing?
