skark A Bat Join Date: Nov 2002 Posts: 1	Spell gem/book idea As a shaman, we tend to swap spells an awful lot so I have an idea to maybe smooth things out a bit. I'm not sure if it can be done, but there might be a couple of ways to do it. I prefer using vertical spell gems, but I imagine it can be done a number of ways, but basically here is how it goes. Place a column of vertical spell book slots next to the spell gems. For example: Spell Casting Book Gems 1 Canni These are always the same for me 2 Sup Heal 3 Alac 4 EB HoS 5 Plague Agi 6 Malo Sta 7 Form of Bear Slow 8 Pet Root Anyway, I presume you cant have the spell book icons on the left column displayed until you hit your spell book button, but once you hit your spell book button, your first 8 spell book icons could appear on the left. This would make buff swapping a bit simpler. In fact, you should have a 3rd column, maybe between the two that contain your most common set casting gems (like the 8 i have listed) which would be page 2 of your spell book. So you see my idea, the question is, is it possible to make spell book icons like that? If its possible, ui designers get on it! : ) Laters Phinger from Povar

A lot of us enjoy using your UI, sadly we are patched to death and each patch more or less changes the UI files and makes them obsolete. I know it probably is a lot of work to keep up with this but we all love your UI and would like to use it again. I have no skills, can someone fix this and send out a patch? Please.

Larul A Tundra Mammoth Join Date: Jul 2002 Server: The Rathe Posts: 62	XML files out of date This is due to the ALT-F ( Friends) overlay of a clickie box, I set it up to hold the Item I use for manaless clicks (ie Primary, range, ammo, chest, wrist, Last primary Inv{ fur boots} ). pls feel free to go into Wolfgrey & delete the file EQUI_FriendsWnd.xml as this is the one causing your small error. also as an FYI no it will not cause you to crash, no it does not at this time cause Problems & YES if you Email me PoP Map's I will trade them out with other Maps in the /Help section ( pls refrian from sending me a Map with a legend or #'s denoting things to be found in a legend as this is tedious). I would Really LOVE a Decent PoTranq Map to add as it is such a jumping off Point for a major portion of us, ALSO FYI I use EQATLAS's GUI XML Creator after I have renedered all my maps to 1) a negative { I use Irfan Viewer} & 2) resized em to 640x800. to make them more readily useable & easier to see thru ( I use a 70% fade on both to make it so I can look at a mpa on the fly & not loose track of in-game).
