I'm really not sure why people keep saying the race sucks because none of the starting stats aren't particularly outstanding. On my server one of the most powerful guilds have a gnome warrior who tanked some the hardest mods in the game. I myself have a half elf druid and more wisdom than I know what to do with. My druid was my first character and wasn't twinked at all, yet I don't ever recall suffering because of my lower wisdom.

For untwinked character it might be a little harder, but in the end the starting stats can be modified with equipment so, IMHO it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. It might be a little more convenient to start out with an more "ideal" race, but I personally love having a more unique race/class combination. (Hence my two favorite alts are a gnome rogue and cleric ~grins~)

Besides, when it comes down to it, the skill and quality of the person playing the character is what REALLY matters in the end.

me and my friends almost took out the guildmaster,
we got him to 84% before some people trained us.

We walked back in, and well.. he doesn't regen too fast lol, if anyone has a guild of 60+ go and take out this redy before he hits harder than 60dmg.

Trolls okay I dealt with a few of them in my home town but now they are all going to be here? Okay this really isn’t going to be a good thing is it?

First newbie land of Nektulos Forest is okay for a lowbie DE hunting now you are going to put in a class that is actually stronger in out midst? I don’t think so!!

Second Trolls stink their stench is often too overpowering. They are going to make Neaiak Smell like their home, ewwwww.

I say move them to Lavastorm that way at least the smell would burn off of them

Coolest event ever. Period!

I figured out this would happen a while before it -did- happen, because I was trying to make a troll and I started in Neriak. I was also in Guk a while before the event started until everything got going. I was very lucky in all these aspects, and when I told people on our auction channel people went like, 'what?? Wth??' hehe..

I have also come to believe that trolls will have a new starting city in LoY, while those that don't buy the expansion will start in Neriak. This is because there is a troll outside of Neriak that says, not quoted, that the dark ones have let them put up a temporary outpost in Neriak for the time being.

The only thing that I didn't find thought-out about this even was that people who were bound in Grobb got some serious problems. There was a guy stuck in a deathloop and died about 15 times. Hopefully he got GM resses heh..
Also, if any troll is KoS in Neriak by some reason, they will have to rely on Luclin to prac and such atm.

In all, many thumbs up for this amazing event. If you missed out, then you should definitely cry some.

They actually moved anyone who was camped in Grobb when they moved the trolls. though i guess your bind point wouldnt change..

yes i would assume that GMs would help in this case... summon a body, rez, and have them rebind..

I'm tired of people going, "What classes can they be?", "Why can't I make a frog yet?", etc. These people obviously know about LoY or else they wouldn't be asking. But hasn't ANYONE read a damn thing on the website? The sheer number of people asking stupid questions continues to amaze me. ARRGH!

Sorry if this rant is out of place. Ummm... go frogloks?

you should try running a website for UI's with 80,000 subscribers...

My favorite above all, and we get at least 5 of these a day is "My UI Stopped working, I don't know what to do" AND THATS IT! no more information...

Even with an FAQ, a header saying "README FIRST" and the search button, and search tag... we STILL get 5-8 of these post a day.

The head and legs are the parts that show up best whether wearing a robe or armor. Feet show except for an anklet for the boots. So, I am going to be choosing based on the legs and face. The blue, orange and dark green males are what I will probably use.

I have to admit that SOE did a great job with the Frogloks. The wide variety of colors and patterns makes them almost as good looking a race as the Vah Shir.
