This is a timer mod whos main goal is to start the guage animation over every time you cast a specific spell (ie, snare or mez). It uses the /mp3 commands in hotkeys, along with blank mp3 files and the modified mp3 window to accomplish this.
To use once its set up:
- At least once per login session, you need to queue up the blank mp3 of duration of choice. Details included in the readme.txt.
- To use the timer, you cast via hotkey that includes the /cast and /mp3 commands. Details included in the readme.txt.
It should work in any mod, and you can of course create blank mp3 files of any duration for any effect you want. The blank mp3s included were more for necs and enchanters.
The only xml file used is EQUI_MusicPlayerWnd.xml, which of course wont be usable to play normal mp3s. Details in the readme.txt.

Here is something i learned if using more then 1 timer you can put both of these on the same hotkey making it less annoying to switch from each just put the "Init" on the first 2 lines then put the actually hotkey part on the last 3 lines this will clear it and add it each time gives a little spam 4 lines to be exact. just a little bit of someting you could do to make for less hotkeys as i have tons already hehe
In this example I'm going to make a snare timer. You need two hotkeys. One to queue up the mp3 player which you hit once on logging in:
Name: Init
Line1: /mp3 clear
Line2: /mp3 add c:\progra~1\everquest\uifiles\02m00s.mp3
Now you set up your snare hotkey that you use to cast the spell:
Name: Dark
Line1: /mp3 stop
Line2: /cast 4
Line3: /mp3 play
