Quartzlike Player Window Update v1.3
by DarkSir23 (Moggan Proudfoots)
NOTE: If you're using Quartz 1.7 or better, you don't need this Player Window. It is included in
the new versions of Quartz.
This is a quick revamp of the Player Window from the Quartz 1.6 UI by Statix Cinderblade.
This originally started out as a personal project for myself and my wife, but it came out so
well, that I thought I'd share it.
INSTRUCTIONS: If you are using the Quartzlike Player Window with Quartz 1.6, just copy all
the files into your Quartz directory. For standalone usage (Or with another UI), copy the following
files into your UI directory: EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml and wnd_bg_player.tga
Version History
v1.3 - Gave a bit more room for the HP, Mana, and END numbers. Should be room for 5 digits now.
v1.2 - Added Attack Indicator box around window.
v1.1 - Minor Update -- Allows for Standalone usage.
v1.0 - Initial Release:
* Squeezed the status bars together, added a Group Leadership XP Bar
* Rearranged the current/max HP indicator, AC and ATK score
* Added Current/Max indicators for Mana and Endurance.

Input Appreciated
This is my first time posting anything I've worked on. Any input or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Re: Input Appreciated
For some reason I can't get this to work. I tried extracting all four files into my UI folder. Then just the *.tga and *.xml file. Then just the *.xml file. Still no luck. Weird.

Are you extracting into the quartz directory, or the uifiles directory?

Re: Re: Re: Input Appreciated
I like the window except for one thing... Can you make the border blink red when auto attack is on like the original quartz player info window?
Otherwise it's great and I will use it!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Input Appreciated
Around the whole window, or perhaps around a portion of it? A few different ways it can be done, just wanna see which would be better liked.

I would prefer around the whole player window...pretty much like the original.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Input Appreciated
You know, I'm looking, and I can't find that in the Quartz 1.6.1 I was working with. Not a problem, but I just can't find it. Watch for an update.

No worries. I added it, after a crash course in .tga layers.

Re: Input Appreciated
With the font I use the HP/MANA/Endurance numbers are getting truncated to show only 3 digits instead of 4. Can this be modified to allow more space for different fonts or do I have to stick with the default font? I like to use Futura MD as my font if that helps at all.

love this
I love this but the % numbers are hard for me to read (eyes going from old age or 5 years of EQ) can the % numbers be a little bigger on the end?
thank you

Re: love this
With the six gauges, the numbers run into each other if I use the next font size up. I'm open to suggestions on how to handle that, tho.

Re: Re: Input Appreciated
I will try to widen the space a bit with the next update.

Awesome UI piece.
Question, can you alter it to support 5 digits for HP?
