Horizontal 25 Buff Edge (Number / Labels)
|
|
Title says it all really....
I got sick of buff bars cluttering up everything on my screen.
I wanted just an edge, like an old old UI I used to use, but with numbers so I can see how many slots I have open, and buff labels.
Well I couldn't find anything that gave me what I wanted, so I sat down for the first time and figured out what I gotta do.
If you don't want the numbers there for the slots, just remove the < pieces > bw_buff#_place < /pieces > lines. (Where # is the number)
The icons are not included, it's the TKing Gold Filigree buff icons that I'm using in the screenshot.
Fixed that line that was causing trouble, hopefully it will work for everyone now.

Ya, I had the same problem, it didnt work and it loads default instead. This buff bar is very similar to the 20 slot buff bar I used before, would love to be able to use it.

confirmation!
Just delete the line described below and it will work perfectly!
It destroyed my UI and I had to reinstall several items to make them work again because I did not read!!
Don't make the mistake and take a look if it will work with your setup --> delete the line BEFORE changing to the UI with it!!!
Thanks for a really super buffbar!!!!!

Line 2015 unbalanced coding.
In line 2015 the code is incorrect.
<!--- If you don't want the numbers to show, just delete all the <pieces>BW_Buff#_Place</pieces> lines --->
Should read:
<!-- If you don't want the numbers to show, just delete all the <pieces>BW_Buff#_Place</pieces> lines -->
----------------------------------------------------------
Also, I didn't take the time to search for the reason why but the buff numbers aren't correct on mine. Just all ones and twos for me.

Syntax Error
Got a message reading
00005:Final [Line:2015
Source:UIFiles\mixed\EQUI_BuffWindow.xml] ParseNodeList()
SyntaxError
It ended up bumping the whole UI to default. Not sure what I may have done wrong, but would love some help since I've been waiting for this particular buff bar to be updated for MONTHS! lol
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I took out your line in there that said *take out such and such tags to get rid of the number lables*
Looks like you might have added that last minute and put in incorrect syntax.
