default eq cursor would be fine but its just using my regular windows cursor instead. maybe its because i use cursorxp from stardock? im not sure what the issue is, the cursor on other UI's works fine but on this one it reverts to my normal out of game cursor which would be fine except its very twitchy and just not working correctly.
after i saw it wasnt working correctly i tried to install a separate eq cursor to see if that would work and still just using windows cursor.
thank you for the quick reply btw, love the UI and hope to resolve this.

Fix has been uploaded, now to determine if I did it right or not.
In case I screwed that part up, here is all you need to do:
Find your Everquest folder.
Open the UI folder.
Open the default folder.
Right click on EQUI_HtmlWnd.xml and select "Open with Wordpad"
Scroll all the way down to the bottom, and look a few lines up to find the line
<DrawTemplate>WDT_Filigree</DrawTemplate>
Change it to read
<DrawTemplate>WDT_Rounded</DrawTemplate>
Select "Save As..." and go up one directory to the UI folder, then double click your Durty Delt directory and save it there.
That's it, you're all done.
As for the mouse cursor issue, let me work on that a bit. It does use the windows default cursor, not the EQ default, because that is what I prefer. But I'll figure it out and let you know as soon as I can.
As for my intended updates to the 1680 version, I haven't found anything I really like yet, and I've been slacking as well Maybe when I get a little more time I'll work on it.

There are two ways you can do that. One, save the .tga files you want as a .dds of the same name (which would require a graphic editor of some kind), and copy over mine in your ui directory. Or two, open up the EQUI_Animations.xml file and search for spellsXX.dds, where XX is 01 through 07, and gemiconsXX.dds (01 through 03). Anywhere you find those, replace the .dds with .tga. I believe those are only in the Animations file, but I can't remember either, so you might want to open up the other files in the directory and search for those same words.
Here is an example of one that I'm talking about in the Animations file:
<TextureInfo item="Spells01.dds">
<Size>
<CX>256</CX>
<CY>256</CY>
</Size>
</TextureInfo>
You need to change that to be:
<TextureInfo item="Spells01.tga">
<Size>
<CX>256</CX>
<CY>256</CY>
</Size>
</TextureInfo>
It's pretty easy, just make sure you get them all. Good luck.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. All I can do to answer your question is to tell you that it works if you do it like I said. If you miss any of them, it will probably screw up, so make sure you changed every one of the entries in the animation file.

Sorry I haven't replied to this in awhile. The problem is, I get all sorts of different cursors to load with my UI, so not sure what issues you are having. It is true that I prefer the ugly old default Windows cursor, but I was able to get the epic ones to load, the AYA one, etc. It is possible Stardock is messing with things, but I don't have it so can't say. I will say that any of the custom cursors that had *.cur files were by far the easiest to implement. No messing with the animations file, no nothing. So if you still can't get something else to work, please let me know. Right now I'm looking at the awesome SK epic cursor from http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=4768 with my UI, so I know that one works for sure. Please try it and let me know.

Updated for 7-05-07 Patch
Uploaded the patch to fix the UI for the most recent patch. Please let me know if something isn't working properly, as I might have missed testing something I rarely use.
Thanks to everyone that enjoys this UI.
*EDIT* If starting from scratch, please apply BOTH patches, otherwise you will still get an error loading the UI. They are quite small so shouldn't be too much of a hassle. When I make any more major updates I will redo the main file at that time.

Re-uploaded the entire directory for those having issues getting it to work still. Please re-install the entire thing if you are having problems. Keep any modifications you might have made backed up please, so you don't lose them.
Enjoy.

Thanks
I've been AFK from game for a couple months. It was great to be able to find that my favorite UI has been updated and patched. I had no problems (other than forgeting how to play, lol) when I logged in.
Thank you Darkmourn for the work you do to keep this UI updated.

Re: Thanks
I love this UI and thank you for making it.
I have 1 issue and the UI may be smarter than I , but I cannot get the HOTT to function. What should I do to get it working correctly? I unzipped the download directly to a folder as is with out any changes execpt for the latest patch files.

I'm assuming you are in a group of 3 or more, with the leader having the HoTT AA of course. If so, the HoTT shows up as part of the spell gem window, so if for some reason you aren't using that, you won't see it. There is a folder for melee combat abilities and HoTT if you don't use spells.
