I am assuming your resolution is 1280 x 1024, since that's all you have listed. You didn't change them to the numbers I showed below, that's why it isn't working. Yours needs to read

Since they didn't fix it apparently, to fix the pet window, find the [PetInfoWindow] in the same .ini file, and change the Width to read 154 and the Height to read 180 as I directed below for the buff windows.

Other windows can be fixed in a similar manner by opening the appropriate .xml file, scrolling all the way to the bottom, and finding a section that says <CX>###</CX> and <CY>###</CY> up a little ways above all the pieces lines. Use the number in the CX for Width, and the number in CY for Height under the appropriate section in your .ini file.

Well, first make sure you have copied over the smaller group window from the "1280 x 1024 pieces" folder. I apologize, I zipped it from my 1680 resolution this time, so you're going to have a messed up group window if you don't change it.

As far as the pet window, you're right, I hadn't noticed that. This is another direct result of the screwup that affected the buff windows, and could be fixed in a similar manner if you were somewhat familiar with UI's. At this point, I am going to wait until they do the emergency patch and see if that fixes things back to the way they were instead of try to track down every window bug. After that patch, hopefully they will return custom UI's to the way they were, and none of this will be a problem. If they don't, I'll post specific fixes, I promise.

New zip file is uploaded and works fully with the latest patch. Just download the whole thing, and again save anything you might have customized on your own version.

As per the front page on EQInterface, the issue with the buff window and short duration buff window has nothing to do with the UI. However, since I know these things can be rather confusing for some, here is what you need to do to fix it.

In your main Everquest folder, find the file named UI_YourCharacter_Server.ini. For me that would be UI_Darkmourn_Cazic.ini. Open it with notepad or wordpad.
Find the section that says [BuffWindow].
Find where it says WidthXXXXxYYYY=### (the X and Y are the resolution you play at, so for me it says Width1680x1050=123).
Change the ### part to say 190.
Do the same for Height, and make it 621.
Do the same thing under the [ShortDurationBuffWindow] section, but make the Height 405 (Width still 190).

So for mine it says
[BuffWindow]
Width1680x1050=190
Height1680x1050=621
[ShortDurationBuffWindow]
Width1680x1050=190
Height1680x1050=405

There is other misc stuff under each [Heading] but those two lines need to say those values AT YOUR RESOLUTION. So if you play at 1280x1024, put those values at the end of the Width1280x1024= line, etc. Again, at your resolution, not mine, not any of the random ones you don't play at anymore, just the one you choose to use. If you change resolutions, then change the appropriate line to match.

These changes will not take effect by simply reloading your UI in game. You must at least log that character out, although I would probably camp all the way out and start over just to make sure.

I make no guarantee that any of this will work while playing in a window and you resize the window by pulling a corner manually, but again, that is a Sony issue, not anyone's UI.

Enjoy, and thanks for the kind words

I have 1 issue and the UI may be smarter than I , but I cannot get the HOTT to function. What should I do to get it working correctly? I unzipped the download directly to a folder as is with out any changes execpt for the latest patch files.

Thanks

I've been AFK from game for a couple months. It was great to be able to find that my favorite UI has been updated and patched. I had no problems (other than forgeting how to play, lol) when I logged in.

Thank you Darkmourn for the work you do to keep this UI updated.
