Re-uploaded the entire directory for those having issues getting it to work still. Please re-install the entire thing if you are having problems. Keep any modifications you might have made backed up please, so you don't lose them.

Enjoy.

*EDIT* If starting from scratch, please apply BOTH patches, otherwise you will still get an error loading the UI. They are quite small so shouldn't be too much of a hassle. When I make any more major updates I will redo the main file at that time.

Thanks for your continued work Darkmourn. I've used it since Jordaan originally came out with it.

after i saw it wasnt working correctly i tried to install a separate eq cursor to see if that would work and still just using windows cursor.

thank you for the quick reply btw, love the UI and hope to resolve this.
Sorry I haven't replied to this in awhile. The problem is, I get all sorts of different cursors to load with my UI, so not sure what issues you are having. It is true that I prefer the ugly old default Windows cursor, but I was able to get the epic ones to load, the AYA one, etc. It is possible Stardock is messing with things, but I don't have it so can't say. I will say that any of the custom cursors that had *.cur files were by far the easiest to implement. No messing with the animations file, no nothing. So if you still can't get something else to work, please let me know. Right now I'm looking at the awesome SK epic cursor from http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=4768 with my UI, so I know that one works for sure. Please try it and let me know.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. All I can do to answer your question is to tell you that it works if you do it like I said. If you miss any of them, it will probably screw up, so make sure you changed every one of the entries in the animation file.

There are two ways you can do that. One, save the .tga files you want as a .dds of the same name (which would require a graphic editor of some kind), and copy over mine in your ui directory. Or two, open up the EQUI_Animations.xml file and search for spellsXX.dds, where XX is 01 through 07, and gemiconsXX.dds (01 through 03). Anywhere you find those, replace the .dds with .tga. I believe those are only in the Animations file, but I can't remember either, so you might want to open up the other files in the directory and search for those same words.

Here is an example of one that I'm talking about in the Animations file:

<TextureInfo item="Spells01.dds">
<Size>
<CX>256</CX>
<CY>256</CY>
</Size>
</TextureInfo>

You need to change that to be:

<TextureInfo item="Spells01.tga">
<Size>
<CX>256</CX>
<CY>256</CY>
</Size>
</TextureInfo>

It's pretty easy, just make sure you get them all. Good luck.

In case I screwed that part up, here is all you need to do:
Find your Everquest folder.
Open the UI folder.
Open the default folder.
Right click on EQUI_HtmlWnd.xml and select "Open with Wordpad"
Scroll all the way down to the bottom, and look a few lines up to find the line
<DrawTemplate>WDT_Filigree</DrawTemplate>
Change it to read
<DrawTemplate>WDT_Rounded</DrawTemplate>
Select "Save As..." and go up one directory to the UI folder, then double click your Durty Delt directory and save it there.
That's it, you're all done.

As for the mouse cursor issue, let me work on that a bit. It does use the windows default cursor, not the EQ default, because that is what I prefer. But I'll figure it out and let you know as soon as I can.

As for my intended updates to the 1680 version, I haven't found anything I really like yet, and I've been slacking as well Maybe when I get a little more time I'll work on it.

Thanks very much for updating this UI !!
