Myxiplx's UI - version 1.1
Ok folks, this is my first ever attempt at a UI so please let me know if anything doesn't work quite right, or if you have any suggestions.
UPDATE - ALL MODS NOW INDIVIDUALLY DOWNLOADABLE
My aim with this UI was to give me a lot more space on screen, while keeping as much functionality as possible. I have a lot of chat boxes and buttons in use, and as I'm regularly walking backwards while pulling I like the map open all the time.
I've kept most features along the bottom and shrunk the viewport to 1280x789 (/viewport 0 0 1280 789), so framerates should be 15-20% better than running fullscreen too.
Main Features:- Wide, clear viewing area
- Important info clustered around the screen for easy viewing
- Custom player window
- HOTT integrated into target window
- Custom 4 slot discipline bar
- Custom 2 slot potion bar
- Custom EQ button showing armour pieces
- Permanent space for map
- Inventory view integrated to map screen
- Potion belt next to inventory works as Auto-Inventory dropper
- Buff lists showing full names
- Six chat boxes, without visible text input areas
- One dedicated chat box for text input
- Widescreen viewport to improve framerates
- All four action windows on screen
- Big expanded bank window (no more digging through your bags)
What I've tried to do is give each item it's own space on the screen. For example, all buffs run along the left edge, the group window is on the right hand side, all general chat is in the centre, etc. When I've had to put something on the main screen I've made it transparent where possible.
For combat I've tried to put the most important info in the player and target bars, both of which are centrally positioned in open space in the centre of the screen, and visible at a glance when you're looking at a mob.
I've seen UI's with more screen space available, but they generally do it by lumping all the buttons together, making it impossible to find what you want quickly. I've done my best to avoid that with this UI, hopefully getting the best of both worlds and having a clear screen with lots of info available.
Known bugsAdditional features planned- Add cast timer to target bar for clerics
- Custom audio triggers
- Add foofy's spell lists and zone info to storybook
- Add sylphan's adjustable timers
- Custom Atlas, shrunk to fit
Recommended keyboard shortcuts
I've tried to keep all the commands used frequently clustered in the bottom left, and I have keyboard shortcuts for all these. I can't include the shortcuts in the UI, so here are my recommendations if you want to use them:

Installation
This mod really needs the custom window locations to work, full instructions included with the download.

Credits and Features in Full
Chat Windows- More text on screen by removing title bar & input areas
- One dedicated window for input
Credit due to thoughtlover for this one. He had the inspired idea of overlaying the input area on top of the chat window. I've simply used his mod:

Smaller Select Window
Not much to say here, the original took up too much space and I found a nice mod by Alricrahl where he'd already done the adjustments I wanted:
http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=3884
Smaller hotbuttons- 20% smaller than regular hotbuttons
Thanks to Starrie for these:
http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=4669
Vertical buff lists- Full names of all buffs shown on screen
- Negative buffs much easier to spot
- Arranged down the left edge for at-a-glance info
There are many variants of this out there, I felt thoughtlover's were the smallest and clearest out there. I run them at 40% transparent.
Buffs window:

Songs window:

4 slot Vertical Combat ability (discipline) bar- 4 slot bar (since that's all I get as a bard)
- vertical layout to show full names in minimal space
- transparent effect to reduce clutter

This is a modified version of Fyste's 8 slot combat window. If you need more abilities simply download the original:

Mini potion bar- Very small potion bar to fit alongside equipment
- Only 2 slots (since that's all I have)
Thanks to fenrian1 for the original minipotion, which I then shrunk even more, and removed the slots I didn't need

EQ window with armour items- EQ window shrunk to a more sensible size
- Turned into a useful tool by adding links to all armour
Thanks are due to Egras for this one, this feature is lifted straight out of his EgrasUI 9.0, and is a great idea for making use of the EQ window. All I've done is remove the borders around the individual items - I thought they made things too cluttered.
Download it fromhttp://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=5303
Egras' UI is well worth checking out btw, it's too busy for my tastes, but has some really nice original touches.

Mini Spell bar- slightly smaller spell bar
Credit due to smileyfaace for this one. The height of the entire bottom part of my UI is dictated by the spellbar. This was the smallest I could find that was still clear and usable.

Smaller casting bar
Not a lot to say about this, a simple mod created by fenrian1:
http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=5069
Shrunken Map window, with bags- Custom fitted map window
- Removed naviation controls (Designed to be used with a wheel mouse - drag to move and use the wheel to zoom)
- Added inventory tab, showing full contents of all bags
- Added a Semi-Working atlas
Download it fromhttp://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=5301
The Atlas was added just to get rid of the XML errors really (EQ doesn't like you skipping features). I don't actually use the in game atlas myself after discovering that Allakhazam's screenshots section includes all the atlas graphics. Once I found that I printed them out and my atlas is a nice little binder by my PC:

Note
Be careful if you have bags with less than 10 slots. As with all expanded inventory mods, all ten slots are shown regardless of how many your bags actually have. EQ in the past lost items if you tried to place them in a slot that doesn't exist.
Now I'm not 100% sure where my original map came from, I've been using a shrunken map for ages, but I've edited it so many times it hasn't looked like the original for a looooong while :-)
I believe the original tiny map I downloaded was blackdragons mini map, it's a great little map with no atlas. I used to have it transparent at the top of my screen:

The inventory tab uses code taken from fonceur's expanded inventory. It saved me a lot of typing, I just copied his bag code and modified it slightly to fit the space I had available:

Expanded bank- Big bank window to show contents at a glance instead of having to dig through your bags.

New pet window- Really good looking functional pet window
While there's nothing wrong with the original window I came across fangarr's superb looking pet window and just couldn't resist including it:
http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=2585
Target window with HOTT
Great little feature made by c_dog_18, shows target con colour and HOTT in one neat little window:
http://www.eqinterface.com/download...nfo.php?id=4778
Enhanced player info window
For a long while I've been using
wymp's player window, but it was a bit clunky in my new interface, taking up too much space vertically and I always thought it was hard to read the figures with them all being lumped together.
So, I took inspiration from several sources and created my own:
Features:
- TSS combat indicator and timer
- Stamina moved down so Health and Mana bar are shown first (sorry melee types, I rarely look at stamina :-p)
- XP and AAXP visible at a glance
- Percentages visible for all stats
- Current and Max figures for health & mana, current to the left of the bar, max to the right for ease of reading
- AC visible, and positioned next to max HP for tanks.
- Personal and Guild tribute timers
- Current ATK figure (ok, so I only added this to balance out the looks :-p)
I'm very happy with the final look of this piece. I think it gives more information than most, in a neater form.
