First off, this is the first time I've uploaded a whole UI. I started off with a base, by the name of Haeldar and this is still heavily based on it. However, I've not seen that one updated in years and I've made alot of significant changes over time, and am now calling it my own with the radical changes I've had to make.
Second off, I started only with the intention on making a custom UI for myself, I never intended on ever posting it. As such, some things will bother some users. This is used primarily on a paladin, I don't care about my endurance so I don't have it on display easily. I could always change the mana to endurance or even split it to two smaller guages if there is enough interest.
Not all the pieces are entirely my work. The buff bar, short term buffs, and compass are based on a UI named Nemesis, I altered a few things but its mostly his work, I'm not meaning to take credit for it.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: The target window on this is really odd. You have to size it into whatever position you want it in, but it will not display the name of your target. That is handled by the player window. So all the target window is for is to show the con color, and the buffs on the mobs. As such, you'll see in the screen shots that I have mine just above my player window and sized down as far as I can.
If you don't like seeing the buffs, you can size it tiny and actually put it on top of the player window so all you see is the con color.
Hotbutton1 is fairly normal, Hotbutton2 has a built in bag inventory and now two clicky spots.
The whole thing is designed to take up as little space as possible while allowing me to be functional. I also have a ton of chat during raids, where I have 6 chat channels and /rs, /gu, /g to pay attention to, so I have mine displayed with my tons o chat windows. It'd be smaller with less chat stuff.
The friends that I keep up to date with my custom UI have been pushing me for a while to fully post it, so here goes. Be gentle.
Update: 3-12-09
Fixed to work with today's patch. Removed the custom raid window until I figure out what the new default can do. Also fixed the issue of the red "incompatible" text coming up when first logging in or loading this skin, its now fully compatible. Am looking to add percentages to group window next.
Combat timer label now works, rather than just the guage, and the group roles will now show in the player window if you are assigned any role.
Update: 3-20-09
Hotbuttons SHOULD be working correctly, with hotbutton 3 and 4 matching hotbutton 1. Hotbutton 2 still has the inventory attached. Also fixed and included the custom raid window I use as well. Originally the work of Myxipls, but not sure if he's still around to do it himself.
Update: 4-29-09
Redesigned the combat abilities window, it now fits the theme of the buff bar like the potion window and aura window. All part of my master plan of Getting-Stuff-Out-Of-My-Way-So-I-Can-See. Various tweaks to the textures that were bothering me in the past, and I changed the item display window alot. Its now partially see-thru at all times, and took color cues from other custom designers and seperated things out a bit more.
The two clickies included are customizable, I put notes in the actual code for the hotbutton windows. Just open it with any text editor, scroll down until you see all the numbers listed for the various slots. The default is what I use them for, my right ear and left finger. I'll upload a patch soon that does not have any clickies if people prefer that, I just wanted the windows to line up all the way across the screen.
Update 4-30-09
Pieces are no longer tethered to the group window, should now be modular. Post any problems in the discussion thread pls.
I never mind praise being posted here, but for any other discussion, requests, suggestions, ect please direct it to this thread so the mods don't get mad at me
