I absolutely Love this UI.

2 things that I would like to see to make this more user friendly for me are....

1. A guild tribute timer.

2. A vertical buff/song window w/out the text.

Thank you for all the work you put in to this UI to make it so nice for all of us.

Just wanna say I've been using the UI for a while now and I love it. You do good work man! The easter egg is great too, would be neat if you threw in a new one in some patched version... or maybe you already did... Either way, great stuff. A question about UIs came up on my (merged) server forums, and I reccomended the UI to everyone! Also think some skins would be neat if you had time to add them as an option, but I understand how that might contradict the functional nature of the UI. Love it as is though!

Re: Re: Woot!

Hi lodi dodi, fabulous UI it has been the only one i will use scince i gave up vert.

i did read this ''If you want the author to add a feature please find the authors thread in the released forum." in big red letters before i posted but..

i was wondering if you would consider making the casting gauge movable?

if i remember correctly some of the older versions had a moveable guage, though hard to grab, i really like to have my casting bar above or below my targets hp (i play a cleric you see ;D)

anyway i have it ajusted at the moment to be as close as i can get it, but with it being bound to the bottom of the spell bar, its not very visually appealing.

anyway, fabulous UI and great work keeping it up, thanks for all the work.. defintely appreciated and this is truely the king of UI's

-darshi ishrad, tribunal.

edit:spelling ><

v 2.3.0

I LOVE THIS! Thank you so much for updating your UI. I found it a few months ago, and have utterly loved it. The hot button / inventory piece has to be my fave. It's set up so conveniently. Thanks again, Lodi!

request Lodi

Much love for your UI for sure. One request, ot sure if its feasible. I tried to resolve it nyself but no avail. Is there a wa in the HotButtonWnd.xml file for it not to look like the key is depressed when you mouse over it. If your mouse is over a button it looks like its pressed. Bad news for a rogue who thinks he's got Hide & sneak on

JDawgg-

I have no plans to split the group window, since I am already using the player window as part of my target window (to make the border flash when attacking) and the window is complicated enough that I don't want to have to support multiple versions of it.

Regarding the background, you can try using different "wnd_bg_dark_rock.tga" and "wnd_bg_light_rock.tga" files which make up the backgrounds, or delete them from my UI folder to use the default backgrounds. However, some of my windows may be hardcoded to use that particular color of gray.

Hordza-

I actually removed the standalone casting bar window, so if you just delete "EQUI_CastingWindow.xml" from my UI folder, that will bring back the default casting bar window and you'll be able to move it wherever you want. (Although you'll still have a 2nd casting bar show up in the spell gems window.)

Soca-

Not sure if you are using my HotButtons window with another UI, but I purposely tried to make obvious the differences between a depressed button, an unpressed button, and the button under the mouse. Here is what mine looks like:

On the left, "Druzzil Harvest" is depressed and it clearly has a different graphic, than the unpressed buttons, and "Exodus" is blue to show the mouse is over it. Comparing that to the right picture, the mouseover on the pressed vs unpressed buttons look pretty different to me, so let me know what you are seeing.

Hot button

Lodi,
I'm evidently not using your window_pieces 6 & 7 files. I cant seem to find them in any of your zips. I think that is my issue

Soca-

I don't have customized versions of window_pieces 6 & 7 since my UI pulls its customized graphics (including button backgrounds) from files called "lodidodi_animations1.tga" and "lodidodi_animations2.tga" rather than using my own modified copies of the default files. In fact you shouldn't have any copies of "windows_pieces*" files in your Lodi Dodi UI folder. That is assuming you are using the full blown Lodi Dodi UI and not just copying my hotbutton window into another UI. If you are copying my hotbutton window into another UI then you will be pulling that UI's button graphics.

<G> of course its standalone (c: I have my died in the wool old UI i use. I just like yout hotbutton setup. I know just enough XML editing to be dangerous to myself and others. I'll load your animations into my folder and see if it pulls the animations for me. If not, I'll be trying another route.

Unfortunately that probably won't help you. My HotButton windows uses the standard "A_SquareBtn" which is defined in EQUI_Animations.xml and by default pulls its graphics from the window_pieces03.tga file. So the graphics that are used are up to your other UI, depending if it changes the definition of A_SquareBtn or if it has different graphics in window_pieces03.tga. My complete UI changes the definition of A_SquareBtn in EQUI_Animations.xml to point to graphics in lodidodi_animations1.tga, but odds are if you copy my EQUI_Animations.xml into another UI you'll end up breaking that UI. What it comes down to is if you don't like the button graphics that your other UI uses, you're going to have to change them one way or another.

Good luck,
Lodi Dodi
