Yes, there is a new target window coming next week, I have been working on it for 3 weeks. Hope everyone likes it. I will keep the original target window in the optionals folder for those that still want that.

Figured out my problem so deleted the post.

Really like the UI but my eyes are getting old and I am having issues seeing some things so I am wondering if there is way to change a few things that I might have missed or a way for me to easily edit a file to make these changes.

1) Make the group window icons showing health/stam/mana larger.

2) Add the same black background tint color to the buff bars (having trouble reading the small text on the clear background)

1) That will take a little bit of doing. Do you know how to modify ui's?

2) You can do this easily. Open EQUI_BuffWindow.xml with notepad, wordpad or what ever you like to use. Scroll down to the bottom. Start looking up a little from the bottom, look for:

<Style_Transparent>true</Style_Transparent>

change it to

<Style_Transparent>false</Style_Transparent>

save file.

You can do the same thing with the song window (short duration buffs). Edit EQUI_ShortDurationBuffWindow.xml and follow the steps above for the buffwindow.

Unfortunately no clue how to modify the UI, was hoping for something simple kind of like the change for item number 2. Guess I am just SOL getting those group icons large enough to be comfortable for me. It is only the only thing really "wrong" for me with this UI. Might have to try striping this part of the UI out and subing something else in though it really sucks to break up such a wonderfully done UI.

Any chance you can fix the tradeskill window

Jewelery window doesnt show the current skill level like the other ones do.
Seems like the title etc are too hign i the right side for it to show.

I cannot reproduce this error. Maybe it's some weird resizing issue. Have you ever loaded a different ui, resized the tradeskill window, then go back to sars?

Even so, I tried doing that on my end, and it's normal.
Also, you can delete the EQUI_TradeskillWnd.xml from sars to use the default ui window.

the default one shows it and Lights shows everything other than JC. resizing doesnt alter the section with the icon in it

Caster with Pet

With the update my personal Health/Mana/End window is showing a blank white box on all characters. The screen shot I included is my mag that gets a broken green line for pet health I believe, but all other info is not showing. If I mouse over it I get the little popup with details.

I did do a complete wipe of the old UI, and even tried a fresh character just to eliminate something in that INI but that didn't fix it either.

Any idea what I am doing wrong here?

Just to include all info since there seems to be 3 slight variations, the top link is caster with pet, below is caster without pet and then a melee character. All are blank, but slightly different. (Caster with pet gets solid white box with broken green line, caster wo gets just the white box and melee gets two white slots, I'm guessing because of the lack of mana in the middle).

This is a personal window you put into sars? Not sure. Your inventory window isn't white right? What is your graphics card? What happens if you remove that window from sars?

If you send me the file, I will look at it for you.

Sorry I meant player window, not a personally created window but I wasn't clear. However you asking to look at it has in a round about way solved the issue. When I went looking for the EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml to send you I found that it was missing. Once I restored it from the SARS zip everything is working again.

I've uninstalled and re-installed the UI several times, still no merc window. I have to load the default ui to get access to my mercs. I see files for the mercs in the ui folder but for whatever reason it will not load and give me access to my mercs.

Any suggestions?

Love the UI but there are times I need the mercs.

I personally just delete the EQUI_MercenaryManageWnd.xml file from the sars folder and it will show the merc window just fine after reloading the UI
