Description
Minuet version 9 is completely redone, it almost deserves a new name.

Minuet is:

Compact: Minuet is a minimist UI -- borders and titlebars are removed, windows are compact and uncluttered, and only necessary information is displayed. All normal controls are included, in their normal window and at roughly their normal size; just the wasted space around the edges is trimmed. Buff icons are the only controls smaller than normal -- all the spell and item icons in bank window, spell gems, inventory, loot window, etc. are the normal size. Text in all windows is the normal size too, not smaller and harder to read.

Familiar: Works almost the same as the default UI. No inventory tabs on the hotbutton window, or player stats moved to group window, or anything else out-of-place: controls are pretty much where you expect them to be. There are a few exceptions for very useful info, such as displaying your xp progress in the player window, but even then the info is still in its normal place as well.

Reliable: It should rarely break on patch days -- it doesn't even have (or need) an EQUI_Animations file. ALL of the xml files can be deleted or combined with other mods without problems. If any one window does cause problems on patch day, just delete it and use the default; the rest will continue to work perfectly until you can get that one updated.

Compatible: You can mix in any other author's mods, delete any of the window mods you don't like, even mix these windows in with another entire UI. This is another benefit of not having an EQUI_Animations file.

Flexible: You can use less than four hotkey windows, replace the spell bar with combat abilities, or move the whole mess to run along the top of your screen instead of the bottom. Increase the font in your chat windows if you have trouble seeing small type. Put the player and target windows centered on the screen, or off to the side. Switch the buff windows to the left or right side of the screen, or even stick them next to one of the hotkey windows. Switch from 1024x768 to 1280x960. Rearrange things how you wish, and the windows still fit together seamlessly since most are the same width or height.

Transparentable: Make all (or most) of the main windows transparent when you want an unobstructed, nearly full-screen view (and then make them opaque again if you move to a brighter zone). All the little icons, buttons, and controls will still show and be useable. The only exception is the indicator in the player window that flashes when you have auto-attack on. (You set transparency by right clicking on a window and choosing Alpha from the little menu.)

Minuet is designed for 1024x768, but works at any resolution. If you run at 640x480 or 800x600 you'll want to get 'Patch for 640x480', which has smaller bank and map windows.

I like the look of the old silver borders and old icons, so I use my OldNotGold UI combined with this one. They're completely compatible and work well together, but this is optional.

There are 27 xml files and 9 tga files in this set:
EQUI_BigBankWnd
EQUI_BuffWindow
EQUI_CastingWindow
EQUI_CastSpellWnd
EQUI_ChatWindow
EQUI_CombatAbilityWnd
EQUI_CompassWnd
EQUI_Container
EQUI_EQMainWnd
EQUI_GroupSearchWnd
EQUI_GroupWindow
EQUI_HotButtonWnd
EQUI_InspectWnd
EQUI_Inventory
EQUI_ItemDisplay
EQUI_LootWnd
EQUI_MapViewWnd
EQUI_PlayerWindow
EQUI_PotionBeltWnd
EQUI_RaidOptionsWindow
EQUI_RaidWindow
EQUI_SelectorWnd
EQUI_ShortDurationBuffWindow
EQUI_SpellBookWnd
EQUI_TargetWindow
EQUI_TrackingWnd
EQUI_TradeskillWnd

File dependencies: Some of the windows require specific tga files to work:
EQUI_GroupWindow needs GWbars.tga
EQUI_PlayerWindow needs PWbars.tga
EQUI_TargetWindow needs TWbg.tga
EQUI_MapViewWnd needs MVWButtons.tga, MVWParchment.tga, MVWDark.tga, MVWWhite.tga, MVWBlack.tga, and MVWTrans.tga

Some of the features you'll find in all these windows:

EQUI_BigBankWnd:
-- Tall and thin to save space
-- All the icons are shown full-size
-- Fully transparentable
-- The version in the patch for 640x480 is shorter and wider so it will fit on the screen

EQUI_BuffWindow:
-- Naturally transparent.
-- Buffs are numbered 1 to 25
-- The dots at the top show where you can grab the window to move it
-- Works well on either the left or right side of the screen
-- The buff names (usually) show when you hold down the alt key

EQUI_CastingWindow:
-- Doesn't show on-screen since the casting bar is in the target window instead.

EQUI_CastSpellWnd:
-- Stretches itself automatically to show 8, 9, or 10 spell gems.
-- All the spell gems still show when the window is transparent
-- The spell names show when you hold down the alt key
-- The spell icons are the same size as default, but the window itself is much smaller

EQUI_ChatWindow:
-- Should be lined up so the visible part is exactly the same height as the hotbutton windows (195 pixels)
-- At that height, you never see an unreadable half-line of text scrolling off the top of the window. This is true whether you use /chatfontsize 1,2,3, or 4.
-- The borders are transparent, but it can be dragged by the top edge or stretched by the side or bottom edges, just like normal chat windows

EQUI_CombatAbilityWnd:
-- Fits just to the left or right of the player/group windows, or next to a hotbutton window, at its current size
-- The combat effect button remains visible when the window is transparent
-- The ability names are in extra-large text (font 4)
-- Saves space by not showing the word 'Discipline' on most of the buttons
-- If you think it's ugly, delete it and get a different Combat Ability mod.

EQUI_CompassWnd:
-- Same width as the player and group windows, so it fits in the stack
-- The edges match the compass color, even if you change compass graphics

EQUI_Container:
-- Borders and edges removed makes it hard to move the containers by accident (but not impossible)
-- Icons are the full normal size, but it's compact enough to open all 26 10-slot bank bags (plus bank and inventory windows), even at 1024x768
-- Fully transparentable

EQUI_EQMainWnd:
-- You can only move it by clicking near the left edge

EQUI_GroupSearchWnd:
-- More compact than the default window, and still easy to use

EQUI_GroupWindow:
-- Fully transparentable
-- Click on a group member's health bar OR mana bar OR endurance bar to target them
-- Click on a group member's pet par OR the blank space just above it to target that pet

EQUI_HotButtonWnd:
-- Can be made transparent and everything still works: buttons, spells, clickies, everything
-- Two are the normal two-by-five shape, two are horizontal
-- Clicking on the page number acts as the File button
-- The optional addon allows you to click clickies but doesn't let you unequip items, even if you click wrong

EQUI_InspectWnd:
-- Layout of slots matches the inventory window
-- Fully transparentable

EQUI_Inventory:
-- Fully transparentable
-- Visible slots are arranged head to foot, top to bottom
-- Non-visible slots are along the left and right sides
-- Click over the stats area to auto-inventory, or click over the xp bars to destroy an item

EQUI_ItemDisplay:
-- Very compact, about half the size of the default
-- Always the same width
-- Fully transparentable

EQUI_LootWnd:
-- Shows all 32 items without scrolling. Mostly pointless now that we don't loot our own corpses.

EQUI_MapViewWnd:
-- Looks like a parchment with frayed edges
-- Big enough to show the entire atlas without scrolling
-- The map in the patch for 640x480 is much smaller and can only be moved by grabbing the left or right edges
-- The buttons are integrated into the map itself, so they don't take up extra space
-- Switch quickly between four different colored backgrounds, or transparent

EQUI_PlayerWindow:
-- Fully transparentable, the only thing that won't still show is the blinking indicator when you have autoattack turned on
-- Click near the xp numbers to clear the target (like the escape key but without closing any windows)
-- Click on your health bar OR mana bar OR endurance bar to target yourself
-- Click on your pet health bar OR just above it to target your pet
-- Endurance percent overlays the left side of your mana bar, since that bar is so thin
-- Pet health percent overlays the left side of your health bar since that bar is so thin
-- Does not show 0 pet health when you don't have a pet
-- Does not show 0/0 mana if you don't have mana (as a Monk/Rogue/Warrior)

EQUI_PotionBeltWnd:
-- Shows all 5 potion belt slots
-- Shows all 3 platsink timers: Tribute, Guild Tribute, and Mercenary Upkeep
-- Same width as player and group windows so it fits in the stack
-- Potion slots stay visible, but the platsink timers can be made transparent

EQUI_RaidOptionsWindow
EQUI_RaidWindow:
-- More compact than the default
-- All the buttons are along the right side so you can see more groups at once
-- Fully Transparentable

EQUI_SelectorWnd:
-- Making this window transparent hides the border, but the buttons stay visible

EQUI_ShortDurationBuffWindow:
-- Naturally transparent.
-- Buffs are numbered 1 to 15
-- The dots at the top show where you can grab the window to move it
-- Works well on either the left or right side of the screen
-- The buff names (usually) show when you hold down the alt key

EQUI_SpellBookWnd:
-- Fully transparentable

EQUI_TargetWindow:
-- Naturally transparent
-- You can change the color of the faint border around the edge
-- Shows (top to bottom) HOTT, casting bar, target health with percent, target name in BIG letters, and buff icons.
-- Can show all 84 buffs on a raid target without resizing.

EQUI_TrackingWnd:
-- More compact than default
-- Can be dragged by the top edge or stretched by the other three edges
-- Fully transparentable

EQUI_TradeskillWnd:
-- Much more compact than the default
-- Sized and styled to look just like the stayput containers
-- Shows 16 lines of recipes without unreadable half-lines of text at the top or bottom
-- All the most-used buttons are together in the upper-right corner.
-- Click on the container name to do a combine, click on the skill name to auto-inventory.
-- Looks even more like a container if you make this window transparent
