Description:

Defiance is a dark user interface designed to have a more modern appearance with some functionality improvements.
The main UI elements (buff/song window, group window, target window, casting window, etc.) is built for 4K and ultra-wide resolutions. Optional alternative smaller UI window addons are available for users running 1080P resolutions or for those that just prefer smaller interface components.


Added UI Functions:

Group Window

• Added main player gauges to group window so the entire group is now shown in the same window.
• Added pet name for each group member.
• Added hate percentage indicator for each group member.

Player Window

• Removed health, stamina, mana and pet gauges. These are now located in the group window.
• Added level indicator to show current level.
• Added min/max stats for many of the player stats.

Buff Window

• Added number labels to buff slots.
• Added spell title labels to buff slots.
• Locked out vertical window resizing to prevent issues with labels and buff icons alignment. Horizontal resizing is still functional.

Short Duration Buff Window

• Added spell title labels to buff slots.
• Locked out vertical window resizing to prevent issues with labels and buff icons alignment. Horizontal resizing is still functional.

Spell Casting Window

• Added number labels to spell gem slots.
• Added spell title labels to spell gem slots.

Hot Buttons Window

• Hot bar 1 includes contents of equipped gear and bag slots.

Installation Notes:

• If reinstalling or upgrading the UI from a previous install, delete the "Defiance" folder located in your "EverQuest\uifiles" directory before extracting the new folder.
• To achieve the same transparency as shown in the interface screenshots:
• Set all interface windows transparency: While in game, open the "options" menu. On the "Display" tab change the "Window Transparency" and the "Fade-to Transparency" sliders to 75%. Or, to individually set interface window's transparency: While in game, right click the window you want to adjust. Mouse over "Window" then "Alpha", set "Normal Level" and "Faded Level" sliders to 75%.
• If using the UI on smaller resolutions such as 1080p you may have trouble with the quest overlay window. To restore this window back to the default UI window, delete the file listed below from the “Defiance” folder.

• Fixed a few minor errors that manifested after a client update.

Version 1.02

• Added "SELW_MailNewToggleButton" and "SELW_MailRedToggleButton" elements to "EQUI_SelectorWnd.xml" to fix the XML errors message from being shown in the chat window. These elements were added to the default UI after a client update.
