There are no personal mods in it, and never will be.

Yeah it is the new map tab option... been looking forever now to find a new map UI that will work for this. If anyone knows where to find a fix for this latest patch please reply to this post and thank you in advance.

New patch today... and getting that lovely "your XML files are not compatable" crap again... I think its because of the new GROUP function for the maps window.

Any plan on updating this ?

Thank you so much for doing this ! I loved the UI before SOE went and screwed with us and put that ugly and annoying new default UI up. Thank you again for this fully functional version of our beloved old ui !

I liked the "old" UI and this has just the right feel to it. I have had some problems getting the compass mission indicator tho.

I am a retired female and I too am having trouble with the new UI's. They are hard for me to see and I would love to have the old one back and have the advantage of the bank slots. What I do now is switch to the new everytime I need to see the extra bank slots. When i lived in a different state I did have a friend change the UI and it had the names of the spells next to the gem slots.This helped me tremendously & of course saved time of having to hold the alt button to see what was what. Since then I do know them pretty well but still like the feature. Is there a UI that has that as well as the old spell gems? Thanks so much for your help. i did register with a different email because it seems the one I am using now was not accepted. i assure you it works. After a miserable couple of weeks struggling with the new UI imposed by Sony I was on the verge of quitting, this after being an avid player for over 2 years. My play time had dropped from 4-5 hour sessions to 10-15 minutes, at which point I'd log off in enraged frustration, unable to read the buff icons, and outraged at this mindless change imposed by Sony. They even messed up the layout of the Hotbuttons, denying me my familiar 2x5 array. for what ? Some evening I'd not even bother to play, knowing the frustration awaiting me with the new default UI.

Then I discovered your default_old_PoR. Installed it and now everything works the way it used to, including the old, legible, clear, familiar Spell and Buff icons and the old 2x5 hotbutton window. Bonus, I have the additional Bank slots too !

Thank you so much. You saved this player's EverQuest existence.

Updated the dragitem34.tga from today's patch. You do not have to redownload the UI, just copy the tga from Default into the default_old_POR folder.

Worked like a charm. No glitches, no hitches and no more 'some of your XML files are not compatiable, etc etc.' For those of us who liked the 'old' UI this is great . Just wanted to give a Big 'Thank you' for taking the time and effort to do this Drakah !

Ok, I reuploaded the file. There was a whoopsie on the scrollbar tga files. It look like there were regliious fish in the scrollbar area. Updated it though, should be normal now

for anyone that is interested in a custom bank window, i simply deleted Drakah's BigBankWnd file and replaced it with THIS ONE
you can organize bank slots according to what is in them. something i have wished i could do for a LONG time! you have to alter the xml code. just be careful and follow his instructions
