A full-size map that looks like an old torn parchment. The buttons are integrated into the map, for maximum viewing area. Now includes five different backgrounds (light, dark, white, black, and transparent).
One advantage of a map this size is that you can use all of the atlas without scrolling.
Based on a design by Raxthorne Spiritwolf, original design by Aerasin.
The dark parchment image is derived from Davey Jones Key Map by mirrorimagestock on deviantart.com.

If you don't think my contributions are worth mention, try downloading Rax's 3D Map Window from 2003 (it's still available) and working from that without copying my work. That's how I did it. You'll soon discover that my changes to graphics, buttons, atlas, and layout are significant.

Missing 'Current' button
Maybe I missed it, but is the button to hop back to your current map added to this? I love the map otherwise!

Is there a way to make it smaller in size so it doesnt take up the whole screen? Even in faded view it takes up a good portion of teh screenwhen i am trying to click on like my MP3 player

One of the nine small buttons in the upper right corner is the current map button.
The crosshairs lines were not originally intended. It's possible to remove them but I kinda like the effect -- makes it easier to find the little arrow.

Current Map Button and upper left corner
Haven't looked at the code you have in the code yet to see if I could do it, but figured I'd ask if you have plans to add the current map button to the window?
Also I have noticed that when I have it partially faded there is kind of a partial crosshairs from the upper left corner of the parchment graphic. I was wondering if that was intended or not?

Hrm it still doesn't work. Although I did convert it to DDS, although I don't think that would make a difference. |

There is a transparent border around all four edges of the map so you can move it. It is just above the words at the top, or a few pixels away from the parchment on sides and bottom.

How do you move it?
I like it but I have to turn on the title bar to move it. Is there a spot I can grab to move the map?
