Ieldar UI v1.9 #2

Description
Replacing your group window, and making the Player Window and HoTT windows obsolete, this UI is dedicated to being as compact as possible, while still being useful.

Geared towards casters, it has Health and Mana gauges, along with numbers for each, Target and Target's Target, group members (names and percentages), XP, AA, Group Leader and Raid Leader XP (with the AA gauge showing how many points you have available to spend), your resists, AC, ATK, and Weight, and finally the LFG, Invite/Disband/Follow/Decline button setup.

My first submission to here, and probably needs a final few tweaks - email me at [email protected] if you have suggestions.

Home page is http://blargh.com/~ieldar/.

Version 1.3 adds spell name to cast bar, fixes out-of-date EQUI.xml, and fixes the UIErrors.

Version 1.4 fixes the UI for DoD (rather quickly, I'll probably make a 1.5 to add more polish to it later, but I figured I'd get SOMETHING out). I'll probably do a melee version at the same time, as well.

Version 1.5 never saw the light of day, for good reason.

Version 1.6 fixes a huge number of minor graphical issues:
- Gauges are bigger, sans background, and infinitely more readable.
- By (very) popular request, con color is now in the background of the target section
- Updated for PoR

Version 1.7 fixes the following issues:
- Group buttons removed from the main window, and a VERY TINY new Party Window is made, with JUST the buttons you need in there. You can stack them on top of each as shown in the screen shot to get very near to 1.5-ish.
- The attack number moved over to be able to more clearly show 4 digits.
- FINALLY, a melee version and a caster version. The melee version is nothing more than an endurance gauge replacing the mana gauge.

Version 1.9 fixes the setup for TSS, as best as possible. The rest gauge is added, but due to issues with Sony and the XML format, I had to choose between the rest gauge and the con-color background (related to the same problem with the Group window. Grrr!). Added Corruption resist, moved things around a bit, fixed F2's pet bar.

Wow!

So, I've gotten now a few emails asking for an update, and a comment on here.

I quit playing Everquest a few months ago, but since it looks like it'll be fairly minor changes, I'm borrowing a friend's account to make the needed changes and test them out.

Stay tuned for a new version.

Update this plz

Can this be updated to work after the LoN patch? It started crashing the game with this UI after that. Major bummer.

It needs a TBS Update?

I've used this mod several times since TBS went live, and it works fine for me. Only difference mine has is that I don't use the group buttons, and I've added the other stats to mine.

Update for TBS?

I was just wondering if there is or will be an updated version of this for the TBS expansion? I love this grp window, as it has everything all in one... including target & targets target. It seems no one else wants to make windows like this... so, at the moment I'm stuck using default crap.
I cant even load this one anymore without getting a clinet crash. A TBS compatible version would be MUCH appreciated!!

What I want

I also wouldnt mind seeing blinking when attacking, and con colors. I am a caster, healer actually, but I solo and have problems knowing when I'm attacking sometimes. But what I would like to see more is the regin timer and the spell cast timer bars switched around so that the spell cast timer is directly over the targets hp. This way, being a healer, it's easier to determine if my heal is going to land on time.

Great little UI. Unfortunately it looks like you lost the targeting con colors. I can do without the blinking attack, but really need to have the con color Otherwise, was wonderful.

For the hybrids and melees out there, I haven't forgotten about you, I'm just hoping to hammer out these last couple issues before I make the other versions.

Update just posted! Enjoy. Took so long because I'm struggling with a problem that seems to basically be making me choose between having the rest state, the background con color, or the group buttons in the window, but I can't have any combination. But enough people hounded me into releasing what I have now.

Nice UI but....

Heya blargh

Nice job !!

I use this UI for my SK, it's real outstanding to others.
But recently I got a XML warning message when login.
From the message it's look like some XML problem right now.

Can you help check this issues? Many thanks.

p.s. I use version 1.7 now.

Group Buttons

When I updated this wonderful interface to PoR the group buttons no longer work.

When I log on the group button says follow as opposed to invite (and greyed) and when I am sent an invite it does not work.

The problem is in order to get the con color box, the window HAS to be the Target Window, instead of Group Window.

I imagine the code for the grouping buttons just doesn't work outside of the Group Window for the same reason...

Grrrrrrr...

Alright, will fix, one way or the other.

There's v1.6, updated for PoR.

I added the Con color. I have to choose between Con Color (requested a LOT) and blinking auto-attack box, can't have both due to wonderful Sony, bleh.

Hybrid and Melee versions are being tinkered with as well.
