Ok, here is the Temp fix till I can update the files again.
Make a new folder in the "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\uifiles" (unless your EQ is installed in diffrent path) and name it "Temp".
Now double click your "default_old" and go into the folder. Now hold down the "CTRL" key and press the "A" key then release both. Now you should have selected all files.
Now right click one of the highlighted files and a menu comes up.
Now Choose "Copy". Now go back into the "uifiles" folder and right click on the "Temp" folder and choose "Paste".
Now go into you Razors Edge or Slayer folder and do the "CTRL+A" and right click a file and choose "Copy" again and then go back to the "Uifiles" folder again.
Now right click the "Temp" again and choose "Paste" again.
Now any boxes that pop up just say "Yes" or "Yes to All"
Now login to EQ and the character that you want to use the skin with and type "/load temp 1" and press "Enter"
DONE!!! Have fun.

razors edge
was curious as to if you plan on updating the Razors edge UI for our new patch(es).
love the ui and would hate to lose ability to use it

Razor's Edge v6.4
Thanks for all your work on the UI. It looks very clean and functional.
Just downloaded and installed v6.4 and I have a question for you. I run a 52 monk and when I used a couple disciplines that have a reuse time of under 30sec (specifically, Phantom Wind and Focused Will) all the other related disciplines became unusable and a 14 hour countdown started - could this be related to your UI in some fashion? Normally I wouldn't think so, but there have been no patches and installing the UI was the only thing different.
Any help you could provide would be very much appreciated!

To answer your question, we have NO control over the buttons other than their size, location in the window they come in, Color, and Font. Everything attached to that button is under the complete control of SOE. They will not allow us access to this code just for this reason. 
BUT I FOUND YOUR ANSWER!!! Friend had same problem. Just double check your PC's Date and Time setting and make sure they are correct. He was off by a week and screwed things like timers in EQ all up. As soon as we fixed his time and date, they all started working right again.

MEZZ/Spawn timer
is this able to reset? or is there an option I am missing .. Please tell me how to use it if there is a way Thanks email if ya wish.. [email protected]  Also I am having a problem moving the char windows because there is no top box with the name in it.. thanks

There is only one way to reset the timer, that is to reload the UI and start it over. All it is really is like a .gif showing a long line of stills that change every second. So if you number them *PooF* a little timer, you just have to look at it and make a note to self as to the time on it, and then add the amout you need to for a spawn or mezz spell, and when the timer reaches that, you know your time is up.
To move the chat windows, just resize them into the locations you like.

if you still have this problem i recently noticed it myself, its not a ui bug/problem for me though, i recently upgraded a few parts on my pc and my PC clock was changed, make sure your calender is on the correct day, and your times and time zone are correct, if all that is correct , you would have to contact tech support on eq, and they will just tell you to delete your ini files and redownload and repatch :-(, i did this 3 times before i noticed my calendar was off 1 day.

Update of OOW
Hiya...i currently have RE and love it, but wanted to know if you were planning on updating it for OOW? now when i log in i keep getting a message saying that my ui is not compatible with new files....don't seem to have a problem thus far, just get the message. thanks

Yeah, I just need to add the new Spell slot is all. I am finally getting off my Soapbox from Complaining about all the Monk Nerfs and how crappy our 1.5/2.0 Epic is and the things we have to do to get it, that now I will have time to fix the UI. Sorry for the wait People. It will be out very soon.

Cant load
Ive have tried repeadly to load this UI back onto my computer this is the best one ive come across and use to use it awhile ago until my GF deleted all my EQ files. I have done what the readme text has told me to do and still cant get this to load, can someone tell what you need to do on EQclient? When i load it i get the set up on the dash like it would be there but it isnt, I go to options and hit Load UI and still nothing please help.
