Does your UI folder name have a space in it? "Sparxx UI", if it does, remove the space: "SparxxUI".

I just dropped all the patcher files into my existing Sparxx folder and the texture on the map window stopped working. It's just a completely black blackground for the whole window. For now I just turned off texture and switched to a gray color to make the map usable. I'll try to replace the whole folder with the Full UI at some point.

Good morning:

I love the UI and so glad you are keeping it updated, however I am having a crash at camp out issue since the latest patch. I have performed a clean boot in windows 10 and the results are as follows:

EQ normally logged in default UI- No issues
EQ normally logged in - SparxxUI- Crash on camping, any zone

WinEQ logged in using default UI-- no issues
WinEQ logged in using SparxxUI- crash on camping, any zone.

Please let me know if you need any file copies and how to provide them and hopefully this issue can be resolved easily.

Side note my wife plays as well and she started crashing with the UI as well.

First let me say thank you.
Second thanks again I appreciate your efforts to assist myself and others playing EQ.
Sparkxx is my favorite UI and my preferred choice.

Since the last patch I also get a crash to desktop when trying to camp a character in game.
I can login with no issue.
Play for hours no issue.
Camp or try to change toons or go back to character select and game closes.
I have 5 separate physical machines mix of w7 and w10
The 19.2 UI does the same thing.
Some machines i get the debug screen send to EQ others app just closes.
If I start with default UI > load sparks > load default (crash as well) or hangs.
I have tried window mode and non window mode.
I even created a new directory and completely reinstalled keeping no previous files. So fresh eqclient.ini and fresh character ini files, still crashes
Default UI i can log in and out without issue
If I can upload any logs or something else that is useful please let me know

Guess I am trying a new ui. I hope it can be my favorite.

Looks like it is the percentages not showing in the inventory window and aa window. Maybe. It is beyond my skills.

I just got home from work, I'll be working on a fix today.

It is a newer map, changing the background texture will fix the black. can still use any color, tho if you prefer the regular eq map then just remove the map file from your ui

Update:
-Fixed crashing on camp or load UI

-Removed percent symbol in group window to allow for better visibility and less clutter.

So I've been having an isssue with my Quest Overlay window and I don't know if it's with the UI. Part of the step counter is cut offf and no matter how far I stretch it out I can still never see the last few digits of the counter. The last quest I am on in this picture is 12/13 in the Quest Window but the overlay appears as 12/1.

Yeah, it's a known issue. I'm working on a fix for it. Just been a tad busy irl.

was thinking of adding an optional cursor.. What you guys think? It is animated.. Blue cursor with green flames.. yes they move!
