Was updating this UI for myself. Decided to share after I saw in forums posts people updating pieces of the UI but never uploaded anything.

Thanks to Firescue17 for making this UI!

To install:
===========
1) Download Graphite UI from here. Graphite UI .

2) Unzip into your /Everquest/uifiles directory

3) Unzip this patch file you downloaded into your Graphite folder, overwriting ALL files.

Things planned but no ETA are
-Make a 2560px EQMain Window (Bottom Bar)
-Skin various windows

Hey! Nice to see you around I came back to EQ early 2019 and was sad to see you gone. I saw posts that others updated portions of graphite, but they never shared! So my friends convinced me to update graphite (and there was A LOT to do) and share it here.
Are you coming back to relieve me of my duties? I remember reading a post by you a long while ago that you were updating the graphics or something like that. What happened to that?
Would have loved to see what you had in mind.

This UI is a joy to work in because you made the code orderly, which I have continued for the most part. I even do this for other things I have updated which takes longer than just
leaving it a mess. You have ruined me good sir! For the better though.

I appreciate the comments and could actually use your help with the player window (graphics part). Because I am horrible at that. This one thing annoys me to no end lol.

Now that I know you are watching I will forever be nervous each update that I do!

hehe ... I still check in on my baby periodically. Aside from burying all the code in the Chat Window (... the guts had to go somewhere ...), I'm stunned how well it was originally future-proofed.

Yup. This is a memory display issue going back perhaps a decade or more, whatever year it was that expanded quest reward and marketplace bags were introduced. I'm glad to see DBG has fixed the underlying bug in all these many ensuing years /sarcasm off ...

/yikes. This must be due to a relatively new change in the default display of the core .XML by the game engine. This wasn't originally possible. The root cause is due to using Window Frames with Titlebars nested inside primary windows to simulate the recessed brushed metal background for groups of element labels. Apparently, all Titlebars are drag-and-droppable now?? I guess ...

The above is an accurate assessment. I used the nested Window w/Titlebar hack in almost every single window. One would have to edit multiple dozens if not 100+ individual files to completely purge the Titlebar hack.

The UI as a whole is working fine for me, including merc and currency tab.

Thanks for checking into it. That sounds like its probably the issue. As far as the zone guide and guild window I'll try that and see if it helps. Its not really a deal breaker at the moment, just more annoying than anything.

Ok, did some digging on the bag issue, it might be related to this:

So if that's the case, it's an EQ issue.

Your other 2 problems with zone guide and guild sound like a problem I had in 2019 with the tradeskill window not displaying. I found that the default UI wasn't behaving properly either so I did a complete reinstall of EQ and have not had a problem since.

Ok, I deleted EQUI_Container.xml and reloaded the ui. It still had the same problem using the default container skin. It seems like it can only count up to a certain amount of bag slots and then it just doesn't show the rest of them. Moving bags around, closing one and reopening a different one all makes it seem this is the case.

Incidentally, I also can't see any text in the guild window on some characters but not all, and the zone guide text is also invisible. But that doesn't seem to be a wide spread problem for others so maybe its on my end.

Only thing I can think of to try is to remove EQUI_Container.xml from graphite. If you do this with the game open, make sure you /loadui.

Let me know what happens.

I think why I don't see this is because I don't have the bags you all have.

I'm also having an issue with bag slots not showing up. A little experimenting with different bags makes it seem like its running into a hard limit of 166 slots showing. Anything over that doesn't show up when the bags are open. From looking at the screenshot Gozier posted, I think i counted 157 slots showing. So I don't know if this helps...

ROFLMAO! It was an accident; a stray mouse click when the cursor was moving past! I swear I don't go looking for problems!!! Although I admit that I have a tendency to mess with things I have no business screwing with...

I found something else, but...well...I'm gonna just go play the game now...

On the AA window, all of the sections in the right column that have a title bar are movable.

Edit: also happens in the Barter window

Ok, fixed the issue with setting alpha to 0 in inventory and bank.
Came up with a solution for the experiment window, but it's not that great as I am tired and not sure if anything permanent can be done. But use that window in a horizontal view only. not vertical.

I am still not seeing an issue for me for the bags missing slots. That's weird that the 2 of you do.

I am not going to update the main file as of yet, and I can't attach a zip file to this message, so go here and download. EDIT. Link Removed.
