Tried adding this to my UI and the game restored the default UI meaning it completely broke the UI file i was using.

Never use Animations in your UI folder. ( UNLESS you have too)

I loaded the EQUI_BuffWindow and EQUI_ShortDurationBuffWindow files only.
The Buff and Short Duration Buff Window worked fine.

If you want old icons, they are found ..

It is a full old default IU, So you will want to extract files out of the folder and put in your UI folder.

Easy, just look for 3 files called, " gemicons01.tga" "gemicons02.tga" "gemicons03.tga"
Now look for 7 files called, "spells01.tga" "spells02.tga" "spells03.tga" "spells04.tga" "spells05.tga" "spells06.tga" "spells07.tga"

So, lets recap, you need 10 files from the download UI from the link above for old default icons and spell gems.
NOT Animations.

Thank you for your comment. I don't use this UI mod by itself but as part of my full UI. So I don't know exactly if it is working and what is needed. I also know that my full UI is not perfect and I'm working on improving it.

I hope to get a chance to look fully at your suggestions and do some fixes for both this and my full UI.

This should be listed in Buffs & Effects not 'other'.

Issue, you don't need Animations in this download. As a matter of fact, it messes up my SpellCastWind. (If loading just this Buff and Short Buff window alone on default).

You should just put the two pieces (buffs) into a separate folder and load it by it self, and look at the pieces. The buff and song window is slightly different from each other. The S1 S2 etc are to far over to the right in the Song window. (Unless you wanted it that way).
Easy fix.

I don't think I have control over where it is listed. That is done by EQ Interface.


The readme.txt file mentions there might be problems with the Animations file and that it is optional. As for the issues with the S1 and S2, I'll have to look at that.
