I managed to fix my ui but whenever I try to do /marketplace it client crashes any idea?

Did you add <Include>EQUI_MarketplaceWnd.xml</Include> into your EQUI file? it should be together with all the other <include>blah blah blah </include> lines :) Think for you its trying to load marketplace but the EQUI file isnt telling it to if that makes sense :)

well i went and downloaded vert ui that savok keeps updated until someone fixes lodidodi335 to work or new version. that will hold me over until lodi is fixed perfectly, so i can play normally and raid. otherwise i would lose all that time of eq because default just blows and i refuse to use it.

Quartz UI Buff Window
Well I wish someone had a fix/repair for the buff window in the Quartz UI! I'm just like most in the same manner that I can not and will not use the default UI. So, if anyone has anything they could share I would be very very greatful! Thanx!

Having the same problem as Stacey...
I am pretty handy hacking my own UI parts. Use some specialized pieces and some default. Have been using the old vertical buff window and short buff window with the small icons and the names in either blue or red bars. I did not adjust them with the last patch as they were not broken. Today they are broken. Do I wait for a fix or is there some easy way to sort this out. Looked at the UI compare and my current UI pieces are farther back than those adjustments will fix.
I do not show any UI errors for that UI pieces as it loaded from my character specific UI - it just doesn't look right. The spacing is all fubar'd... Advice? Thanks Et***e |

I updated the Lodidodi EQUI_Animations file with the new stuff from the default EQUI_Animations file. Loads ok, have not played much yet. Will get back after I play awhile.

ok, worked through diverse fixes including some stuff I copied from default animations to my SARS one.

thought I'd continue to use UIErrors.txt to troubleshoot, but stuck on the above.. my Sars UI dont even HAVE a EQUI_SpellDisplay.xml ... any ideas? UI looks ok after all my work, I just removed options, petinfo and selectorwindow files for now. (dont have them up usually, so no biggie) all that really remains is the buffs going left-to-right and buffnames right-to-left making my buffbar look a mess. (still hoping someone will take the trouble of fixing it.. or at least provide a good code example) |
