Stand Alone Auto Equip Box
 

has anyone seen a stand alone auto equip box that one could move anywhere on the screen that they wanted to? Having a full inventory screen open just to auto equip an item to fall to the ground sux =) if not could someone post one or how to do it?

Can't be done, sorry mate.

Currently the auto-equip box is confined to the Invetory window.

Lets hope VI has some nice large UI patch here soon that will correct many of these "non-customizeable" pieces.

Something that could be done *I think* would be, if you have everything else moved out of the Inventory screen to other windows, then the Inventory itself would be *just* the Autoequip.

IE, lots of folks have moved all the player info (name, class, lvl, diety, stats, resists, exp, aa exp) to the "player window". Others have put all the inventory slots (bags) as part of their hotbutton window. Someone else has all of their equipment (armour/weapons) in another window. If you can figure out somewhere to stick your cash and your skills, advanced, destroy and done button, then the only thing left would be the autoequip. Then you could just shrink the Inventory Window down to the size of the autoequip box, rename the title, and viola.

Make sense? Possible?

They are also stuck in the confindments. Plus, this mod will still require hitting 'I' everytime just to get the auto-equip window up.

Not sure if this mod works, but I'm gonna try it out.... might be worth a look.

Looks like you can change it to be more manageable for folks that need it to be open frequently. I think that's mostly what is being asked for, an autoequip area that can remain open at all times without being in the way... hitting 'I' wouldn't be a problem at all if you just left it open all the time.
