moving the autoequip area

Has anyone seen or have an idea where to start with moving the autoequip area into it's own window. I would like a spot I can leave up and just drop stuff into.

Not only would this help with foraging - but I can think of a bunch of tradeskill apps for it as well.

Unfortunately, the autoequip window is currently hard-coded to the inventory window by VI. No way to move it.
