adding backgrounds
 

ok whats the simple way to add a background image (for example, to the player window)? ive tried looking at the other files and duplicated different things but it never seems to work.

ok i got the graphics into the window, but now they look smaller then they are supposed to be. i can enlarge them by increasing the size in the xml but they get distorted. why, if the image size is 200x30 and the size referenced in the xml file is 200x30, does the image appear smaller in EQ?

Graphics files used in the UI's need to have canvas sizes in powers of two(2).

Change your canvas to 256x32.
