I tried this xml file and still got the red text telling me one of my windows doesn't pass muster.

Could you Look into the Error Log and see what file is marked with an error?
Or just copy your UI's Error Log here.

strange now today it works. Yesterday it didn't.

Figured it out. My error was "not" your pet window but the short duration buff window in my UI directory.
