Back for the first time
 

I have had a level 56 chanter parked in everquest for the past year. How you may ask I've been away from civilization. Either way enough with the history lesson. All the talk of UI's and a bunch of other new things have me asking qustions. Are UI's patches that SOE have come out with or are they third party environment windows to play EQ in? And how exactly is this done? Any correspondense on this issue would be greatly appreciated. BTW I will be back in EQ swing in 2 weeks woohoo.

A UI is just a newer user interface sony started using over a year ago. They set the files up in XML so that they could be relativly easy modified to fit you wants/needs. Iwould suggest digging through the FAQ section here. It will answer most of your questions.
