Question on tracking window. Did they scrap the other con color changes. I know I read about Lt Green and (current Lt Blue) and Purple (between Yellow and Red ~ which should be orange)

Duesama 09-18-2006 03:23 PM

Last I heard color cons were as follows

grey (old green)
green (old lt blue)
lt blue (old blue)
blue (with in 5 levels of current level)
white (same)
yellow (same)
red (same)

There is a gray at the lowest level now yes. Not sure of the distance in ranges.

Dolby, thanks so much for doing the file compares. They save me a ton of time, and help me double check my work; I appreciate the time you take to do them so much!

Actually per the patch message Yellow is now 1-3 levels above you which makes Red 4+ levels above you.

Came back to EQ for the progression server and this is the first UI patch I have had to play with in over 2 years. I loved this site back when I played and I thank you Dolby for making my UI update as easy as I remember it.

Everything stated above is correct except for 1 thing. Yellow con is now up to 3 levels above, as opposed to the previous 2 levels. This is so that players are able to determine if the spells they have will be effective on those mobs (i.e. Enchanters mez is always capped at 3 levels above the max current PC level). Red is obviously at the next stage, 4 levels and higher.

File to edit to avoid pearl necklace icon.

Can someone remind me which ui file I edit to add the new tga files to stop the pearl necklace icons?

Not positive on this I think it is in the Animations file under the drag items part

Map window

Any idea what controls the group colors on the map. I loved the blue Xs before, now they defaulted it to black and makes it really hard to see your group at a glance.

Thanks in advance.
