a few questions
 

Ok, I downloaded a few skins here, and I think I have decided to use http://www.eqinterface.com/sdownloa....php?s=&id=1826 the Infiniti5 skin from infinity9...however wheN I load it, none of the windows are in the right place, and I dont have a few of them.

Question one: Am I supposed to manually move them myself into position?
Question two: The chat bars have no title, so I can't move them around, how am I supposed to move them?
Question three: how do I close the big bar at the top/add the mp3 bar?

I am in 1280x1024 reso if that helps.... I get that XML prob message everyone seems to get. I've read all the faq, and read me firsts, but I havent found answers. THanks

ignore question three, i found it out, btw sorry for the stupid questions, i quit 4 yrs ago and started playing again this week so alot has changed

Let me see if I can be of any help......

First off, did you rename the UI_CharacterName_Server#.ini file to match the desired character name/server # and move it to you base EQ folder (assuming he provided one when he submitted it)?



You CAN manually move them if so desired (if the windows are locked, you will need right click on the scrollbar/title bars and unlock them

To move the chat windows, you will need to drag one side of the window open to where you want that edge of it and drag the other side over to shrink it down to starting size

Ive taken a look at the screenshot provided for the UI and see no 'big bar' at the top, so I will assume you are referring to the window selector bar...........close that by alt+w, and alt+k to open the mp3 player.

without looking at or knowing about this UI, I'll respond to question 2 - You Ghetto size it. Grab and resize window on the sides until its where you want it. Not elegant but it works.
You can also right-click the chat window input line to bring up the context options.

It didnt come with an ini... i guess I have to do it manually
