New UI & PC/NPC names font/text size?

I've noticed with the new UI that the font/text size used for PC/NPC names is friggin' huge and blocky, even in 1024x768 (not to mention in all caps - what's up with that?). Is there any way to change this? Either through xml or an ini file somewhere?

That's a game engine thing. I don't think that's changeable through any of the XML, which seems to control only the windows.
