Final Fantasy UI (not ffxi)
 

Could anyone create a Final Fantasy UI that perhaps emulates the windows from FF1-7? They arent flashy, just a white boarder with blue interiors, but they were quite functional none the less. And of course buttons for things like spells and inventory were text, but as long as it has a general FF feel, id be happy.
THanks in advance should anyone decide to pick this up.

Yeah thats it. More or less anyway =)
If you perhaps need icons from the game I can get those to you.
But thats pretty much what Im lookin for. And the finger cursor too heh.

Title says it all.

Click reply and click on "Manage Attatchments" under the "Additional Options" bit... Browse for the file and upload... :D

heres the pic, perhaps this could be the inventory format.
Ive got swords spears shields bows etc that could be used in the inventory slots
and also the "finger" cursor is very important. Kind of represents the whole FF theme in my opinion.

Maybe the boarder on the inventory window might be a lil thicker, but not much.
couple pixels or something if its possile. the finger looks good as well.
I'm not sure how Id like to see the hotkey window, probably vertical in a box but horizontal may work too.
So far so great tho, wonderful. And I appreciate the time youre investing here.

It's going to be fun trying to get this to all work in EQ... If any leet coders want to do it just post :P...

One change I'd make is the group window. Instead of being titled GROUP I'd have it called PARTY. I don't know why sony calls parties groups but they do for some stupid reason. It's a major gripe of mine and has been since EQ came out. Not the only thing Sony's messed up believe me! Hehe.

An FF UI would be very cool btw, I'd like to see one like in FF VII. Perhaps a little fancier than what was shown, but you have the general idea. I use the World of Warcraft UI on my wizard Sandcaster.


As an aside(and a rant) Why cant ANYONE make a good Wizard UI I can actually get to run?!? Flintnilf's is a pain in the rear end!

But now that i think about it, does the inventory have to be symetrical?
Could you make an inventory to match the ff7 menu?
That might be neat, with the face buttons and whatnot off center like the menu is here.

Hey Im totally with that man, lets get that sucker on the dl section.
Never been much of a map in ff so just do whatever with that. Also when i mentioned the hotkeys I also thought they would be 2 lines of 5. Any way you come up with is prolly gonne be a-ok tho. Can't wait for this one.

I'll try my best to get this working in game... I'll keep you up to date...
