I agree and step down... I saw a trend of "borrowed" art and that was my thought. As long as the site keeps its eyes open, this is all great. :)

you can not even guess the number of "complete mods" i have deleted and contacted the submitter telling the that 1. they didnt credit the original author and 2. was uploading to the wrong sections since it wasnt original work..

I am sure there have been a couple that have slipped through. but so far no one has emailed me any direct complaints.

thank you for understanding and I am curious if the icons are availble on the CD the way the WC3 icons are.. I dont have ID2 soo i can not even look..

I was one of the few that preordered the IWD2 collectors edition. (game plug- awesome single player rpg) So I just reloaded my save games and started hitting the print screen. I was unaware that the WC3 icons were available on the disk.

i understand that the images are stored in some file or files that others have extracted out.. (from the dialog I have seen)

I could be totally off.. but who knows..

Ok, this is a very tiny preview of the spell gems and icons. I assume you know which ones are the regular. I would appreciate some feedback on the ones that have been done. This still might take me quite some time to finish since my free time is somewhat limited. All of the artwork for these icons is from the Game Icewind Dale II (awesome RPG.) I have made some color changes where I felt it was appropriate.

Ok, nevermind, called off. Just trying to fill a request here, I will leave the board free of Icewind Dale material even when it is littered with WC3 rips. I am discontinuing work from here. I don't want anyone else ticked at me.

Bogus! If Blizz requests a cease and desist, then follow thru otherwise...

Do they have a media pack for ID? Does it include Icons for your website? Would they be psyched to see that someone might like their icons enough to investigate the game becuase they saw the icons in a UI mod?

... Give Copywrite Notation to Blizzard - Lame kudos to whoever, not looking to infringe on rights or make profit, just praising the work of some artiste - and then post the gems.

I am sorry that it came back up and I am one that would like to see the ID-2 icons completed.

I have said clearly that if someone from Blizzard or Bioware contacts me or Dolby we will look into it further.. as of right now as long as propper credit is given, its free advertising for them.

I have just completed putting together the entire set of icons. I just uploaded them to the Miscellaneous board so it might take a few hours before they will be available, but for those of you that are interested, they are now complete. That was more of an undertaking than I anticipated. I am also looking for feedback and constructive criticism on these icons. I did the best I could with what I had available. If you find anything that just doesn't fit right, let me know. There were several icons that after hours of internet research, I still couldn't find what they were for. Hope you all enjoy them. All of the artwork is from Icewind Dale II, I did color changes as appropriate. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
