<Sigh> patchday wont load UI
 

OK so i am using the newest version of Tablets Marble in Purple and with the new Patch i cant get it to load. I am not UI Smart Brighid741 was sweet enough to update it last time.... But since i have no idea whats wrong and why it wont load i dont know what to do lol Client Crashes me out. Any help would be appreciated Default makes me want to cry

Post your UIErrors file, so people here can help you more easily.

I'd guess it's a problem with the new HtmlWnd.xml having that Filigree template in it, though.

Breaks alot of older custom UI's when they use that.


If you're getting that error, then just open EQUI_HtmlWnd.xml in Notepad, scroll to the bottom and find <DrawTemplate>WDT_Filigree</DrawTemplate>, and change "Filigree" to either "Rounded" or "Def".

They (the tablet UI's) should be back in a few days, please give Brig a lil time to see whats wrong... It actually crashes after char select, while loading... I noticed on a char that was set up in default UI did not crash till I tried to change to one of the tablets..

Ok as i said i am ui stupid -- how exactly do i find the error messages?

And thats Cool i can handle a few days LOL i think MIght get to kill a few people in the process

The Tablets updates are pending approval right now. You can use the zip file I attached in the Tablets thread to update the UI as long as the one you were running was TBS compliant (version 3.0): http://www.eqinterface.com/forums/s...88&page=3&pp=15

Boggles the mind to think why Sony won't make it a little easy for us all by updating the old_default as well. It really wouldn't take them much time and would save those of us that likes the old default look so much time and heart-burns. There are many old_default users out there that have stuck with EQ from day one, but they forgot about us old folkies. :confused:
